Fixing To Start New Pond Need Some Tips/advice
I am by no means a pond expert but you might want to check your regs to see if 1 trapping for game fish is legal and 2 is it legal to stock those fish in another lake and 3 are you going to be transporting any types of diseases by using said fish. I have always wanted enough room to make a nice pond and someday i will do it

Left Handed Baitcaster For Crankbaits
So I just picked up a Kistler cranking rod and am looking for a reel to go along with it. I can't seem to find any left hand retrieve reels under 150 with an under 6:1 retrieve ratio. Any ideas? If i have to bump up in price i guess i will but i was trying to keep it in that $150 range if possible. I really got into crankbait fishing last year and this technique specific setup will come in handy......

Future Governor
it's one thing to lose a spot start here and there but to lose your first 12 or whatever it was to start a season is completley different. I think Luck will be a better big game QB than manning since he always seemd to disappear come post season.

Pros Fishing At Lower Level
I don't see a problem with it. I imagine the life of a profesional fisherman is not easy and if he can fish a lower level tournament and make a paycheck then why not. If you are worried about him stealing your spot well just consider this a precursor to what you will be competing against at the next level. I mean if you would have won nobody would ever hear the end of it how the local guy beat the hot shot pro.....

I don't think manning was traded but he was released to save the colts from having to pay a huge salary of 16M to a guy who had 6 or 7 neck surgeries in the span of a year.... The colts actually were somewhat lucky in that who knew they would bee that bad without manning at QB. Hard to believe a QB was that important to a team.

Yeah i would have to agree that the manning situation actuall ywill make the rebuilding stage of the colts much much shorter. That luck kid is pretty freaking good. I am kind of enjoying seeing peyton break all of elway's single season passing records though, never was a big fan of elway.

Favorite Weightless Soft Plastics?
Zoom salamanders and craw imitations work well for me but usually it is a stick bait or a fluke depending on the situation.

Am I Right Or Wrong?
I hear ya and i can see your point entirely. if you can't live on 80-100k a year for two people i would seriously question how you are living. Not trying to hijack the thread but you can live off that pretty much anywhere. Granted down in TN you can live like a king on that salary and back home in philly not so much but stil be pretty comfortable....anyways doesn't matter at this point. Just try and get yourself together and move on and learn from your past experiences and you everything will be better.....on the plus side at least since she hasn't been working it's not like you have to figure out how you are going ot support yourself since you were already doing that and then some....it's almost like you just got a raise

Kayak Recommendations
There are a lot of nice kayaks out there that will easily handle a guy your size. if you are looking at primarily flatwater and smaller lakes i would recommend taking a hard look at some of the hybrid boats out there like native ultimate or the wilderness systems commander. Both are great boats that paddle well and make it easy to stand and fish when needed. I personally have the commander 120 as my flatwater boat and it is a great boat. Tons of storage super stable and easy to rig how you want with teh slide trax on both the top and the sides of the boat. There are also some of the new jackson boats out there that look pretty nice as wekk like the cuda 12 which gives you a high seat position and also the ability to stand with the self draining capability of a standard SOT. I am pretty sure JFrancho paddles an OK so i am sure he will chime in.... Above all else if you can get out and paddle a few different boats on a demo day somewhere you will be able to easily determine which boat you want.

Am I Right Or Wrong?
I am sure it all worked out for the best....and for the record, being a stay at home mom is not an easy job assuming you have kids. My mom was a stay at home mom (with an in home licensed day care) and she worked very hard. Now my ex wife was more of the let me have you help me get through grad school and then i'll treat you like crap and we'll break up....oh well. 25K paid out later i am still happy that it went whay it did because i eneded up moving for the ex and wouldn't have met my current fiancee and we have a great 2 year old Everything happens for a reason.....

I saw it on an infomercial once.....but that's about the extent of my knowledge.

Caught A Nice Brown Trout Today
One thing to remember is if you catch a stocked fish full off eggs don't feel bad about eating them.....the main reason trout are stocked is because they cannot sustain a population in a specific waterway. Usually because it gets to warm in the summer time so if it is in season and legal size.....eat away because they will die off eventually anyways.

What Has Bass Fishing Done For You?
To me it is a way to scratch my competitive itch without involving anyone else, especially since I injured my back in college and haven't played basketball competitively since that first year on the team. I also enjoy getting outside and not having any distractions other than wondering how far I will paddle, what patterns to try, will that huge bass I saw but never caught decide to make my day etc.... I have a lot of hobbies but I love fishing and the challenges it brings no matter what species I am targeting that particular day....
