The closest lake to me that smallies call home isnt the greatest in clarity. 1' visability is the average. Stained water, with a little cloudinss tossed in depending on where you are. I've seen 2, (lost 2) that would go over 3lbs. Its not the best lake for black bass, but I know they are there, and some with size. With the water quality where it is, what lure/color options would you go with for the brown fish. (Mind you, more washed out colors for small mouth)

I got 3 keepers in the first 30 yard stretch, just couldn't bag anymore, or upgrade. I should have took a nap like he did under the console.

You might invest in a quick release anchor system/trolley. Quick Release Anchor System

Did you learn to NEVER anchor like that again. I always pointed into or with when I anchored. Never cross wind and especially never with the wind pushing me over the anchor/line.

I use to. When I worked out. 3 miles after training every day. Got my time down to just over 21.5 minutes. But, that's treadmill miles. Way different than actual miles.

I use the Ol' Monster a lot. Its a 10.5" worm. Like everything. Its a confidence thing. Maybe a slow gradual increase in length to work up to the big worms.
