  1. The Classic is on public waters. The pros can't claim public waters. There have been instances where people pull up after they leave and fish or people are on their spot fishing when then show up. Although I do not agree with it, people don't care about anything but themselves these days.
  2. I don't have any Powell's, but guys on here love them. I doubt you'd go wrong.
  3. You can swim any jig. Put a trailer on and go! The rage trailer you used may be a little to much action. Try a beaver style bait as a trailer. I use the Missile D-bomb on my jigs. A thicker trailer slows the rate of fall.
  4. ^^this is excellent advice. Spinnerbait to catch'm a jig to possibly catch your new PB!

    A great company to support!
  6. Oklahoma has been getting some doozies in the last couple years.
  7. There are some great smallmouth fisheries in the south. Two of them are close to me. Lake Tenkiller and Lake Texoma. I enjoyed this MLF and I'm glad Marty finally was able to see a smallmouth bite!

It's Mike's version of the chatter bait. You can fish them like a jig. Yo-yo them like a lipless. These type of baits are very versatile. I like to use mine when everyone is throwing a spinnerbait. For a trailer I use a LFT magic shad.
  9. The FTO will work great. I have the old Falcon FTO. You can find the Falcon hook and sinker FTO on ebay. On another note. The bait coffin by Bass Mafia is a great box and it is well worth the 30 bucks. It is heavy duty and will keep moisture out. It is a bit heavier than regular boxes.
  10. 100

At "300" I expect King Leonidas quotes.
  11. Kung Fu Panda! Oh wait that's not disney. I'd resemble the Panda tho!
  12. Big for sure. 25? I wouldn't thinks so. The fish have been gutted. There are cuts directly behind the gills that IMO make the fish seem longer. Just my 2 cents.
  13. LFT magic shad.
  14. You're thinking outside the box. Keep doing that and you'll be rewarded.
  15. I used to play rec league ice hockey. I'm getting to old for that sport now! LOL I lift weights 4 days a week. I fish and hunt. I occasionally play golf. Other than that I sit on my butt as much as possible!
  16. You have the complete right to suggest floating that boat. When he didn't seem happy then there is a reason. The reason IMO probably wouldn't have been good for you. He had something to hide. Maybe the handling wasn't there. Or that if you cut it to hard water came over the side.
  17. I believe that is why the price is a little higher. Flyfisher has some excellent advice. I've never owned a jetboat but I've ridden in one. They handle differently for sure.
  18. Basically no prop. You can get in some "skinny" water. In some tournaments, pros will use jet boat to get into backwater on nav channels and rivers. It kind of works like a jet ski.
  19. Heck yeah. The only thing I'd be wary of would be how it handles. Give a test drive for sure. Don't forget your life vest. A brand new 17' John boat would run about half that without a motor. A lot of TLC and work put into that one!
  20. What ticks me off is the picture of a fish covered in grass and dirt laying next to a rod. Not so much the tossing in the water. Just my 2 cents.
  21. I didn't see a war room icon. There was some negative feedback on fans being able to know exactly where a pro was last year. Some like KVD and Ike reported anywhere from 80-100 boats following them at times. Crazy B.A.S.S. fans in Oklahoma! So I don't know that they'll even do that. We'll see.
  22. I'd be more than happy to own it!
  23. 100 MPH is what I have. I have always used cheaper rain gear. They are top notch compared to what I was using. I just purchased a size bigger so that way I could layer. I'll say this, I felt nothing at 50+ speeds at a 40 degree temperature. They are worth their weight in gold IMO.
  24. You need a heavy stick for frogs and jigs as well!!!!
