I am wondering if anyone would be interested in sharing books that you have with me or other members? I have books I am sure some "new to bass fishing peeps" would like. I would pay for shipping to your address. When you are done just pass on the books to someone else. I have learned a ton from books and magazines. Hopefully this would help some people who don't have a bunch of money to get information they otherwise wouldn't be able to get. It's just a thought. Darin I have books and magazines. The $240 was allotted for recreational use. I have a good 401k and other savings. But rather than spending I could throw it in savings but that wouldn't be as much fun!

I do 2 things in the spring. I slow roll a Biffle head with a craw type trailer. Reeling where it stays in contact withe bottom. I also use a 3/4 oz football jig in the same manner. As far as colors. Pick your poison!

IMO there have been fish that should have been measured that weren't. Seems like being close doesn't only count in horse shoes and hand grenades in MLF.

From what I see and have heard insanity is more cardio. I haven't tried it soooo I can't knock it. I like lifting weights. Heavy weights! But I'm sick of the mirror fairy's. I have to watch tinkerbell at home. I don't want to see it at the gym. So P90X for me. I like the weight training. I have a buddy that's a strength and conditioning coach. He told me guys need to lift weights along with cardio to get the full weight loss potential. I think it's preference whichprogram you do.

I was trying to keep brand names out of the question. Reason being I'malready battling the voices inside my noggin. I will tell you this tho. They will be used for cranking. I will purchase 2 rods. So in essence I'll save 80 to 100 bucks if I choose not to buy the split grip.

Are split grip rods really worth the extra money? Besides making the rod lighter what are the other advantages?
