  1. I'm about 70 miles south and a little west of Grand. It is a sleet and rain mix right now. They are calling for freezing rain over night.
  2. It will just be the weigh in live, unless they've changed it from last year.
  3. The Dick's booth will be carrying them at the Classic expo. I guess I'll have to buy a couple to try out. If I had an unhealthy addiction it would be cranks!
  4. They are tossing jerk baits next to them! Howell caught a 6 pounder a few hours ago.
  5. My wife looks at me funny when I talk to myself. She thinks I am talking to her and then she sees the pen and paper. Then she realizes I'm making lists of baits to buy or to research!
  6. It is done snowing. The weather is supposed to be kind of nasty tomorrow as well. 80% chance of rain.
  7. We are conversing rite now! I'm arguing with him about what we need to be buying at the Classic expo!
  8. That is spot on! I also heard they wanted a chance of the weights to be higher for the Super Bowl of bass fishing. Since a lot of southern states will be on a pre-spawn, spawn, or post-spawn pattern. That is why they are choosing where it will be. This tournament was announced in November of 2011. The Classic used to be in August. I would like to see them alternate really. Have the Classic up North in their spawning periods as well. I can't believe I finally get to go to one!
  9. My dark horse's would be Alton Jones and Ott Defoe. I believe KVD or A-mart could be up there as well. I have to go local yocal tho! LOL
  10. Jason Christie is mine.
  11. I'm game for whatever time. I'll only be able to go to Sundays weigh in.
  12. I would say focus on an area they are likely to be. Saturate that area with all the baits you mentioned above. When you think your fishing slow, fish slower. At this time of year, I'm only ripping baits like cranks and spinner baits when the temp is on an up swing. Like a 2 day warming trend.
  13. And in other news, it is snowing in Oklahoma! Supposed to get 1-3 inches!
  14. That's totally unacceptable to me. Like bluebasser said I hope someone checks that they are alive before transporting. If one's dead before loading the boat then a penalty needs to be enforced.
  15. I have never been there. I was thinking Elmer's or Stone Mill BBQ in Broken Arrow. It doesn't matter to me where we go.
  16. Oh man I'm not liking you rite now! lol We just had ours taken away!
  17. I use them for flipping and pitching, spinner baits, some crank baits, and plastics. Basically anything I want to reel in the slack quicker if the line jumps on the fall.
  18. I'm a machinist for a major airline. I work on main landing gear parts.
  19. In order for expense deductions, it needs to be a business.
  20. When they first announced the Classic was going to be in Tulsa, they had originally planned to take the anglers and fish to the BOK by helicopter. I guess they scrapped this idea.
  21. I throw red square bills. With my jigs, I'll put a few red strands in from time to time. My trailers stay natural. I have a red spinner bait I'm going to give a try. As far as if it works? Heck yeeeah it does!
