IMO other Okies are better options. Tommy hasn't fished this lake as much as you would think. He has been quoted as saying so. That doesn't mean he won't do well tho. He does better when the water is a little warmer. Welcome to the forum!

I love the Skins as well! I don't get to watch them much being in Oklahoma. I hardly miss a Sooners home game. I am a season ticket holder. Other than that I'll DVR any other sports I want to watch including OU away games! I spend a ton of time in the woods or on the bank/water!

Based on my experiences in Bass Pro, during any big sale, good luck finding an available employee. Managers are more scarce. Find an employee, ask the questions then have them radio the manager for permission to fill out the proper forms to get the discount.

I could be wrong there as well. lol Evers live down the road from a good friend of mine. Based on what my buddy tells me, Evers doesn't fish Grand much. That doesn't mean he won't do well. The only thing I can say for sure is most of these guys catch the heck out of the fish. I can't wait!

I have the best of both worlds. I hunt in the fall and fish. I fish in the spring and summer as well. It is just January and February that stinks like a gym shoe!

Come on man! It isn't the stores fault. They purchase huge quantities of some of these items at a big discount. There is a guy behind a desk negotiating deals with the manufacturer. They take the quantity and disperse to the stores. One may get 10 the other 35. I know a retail manager and this is how he explained it to me. Rather than getting irate maybe you should say "Hey I'm looking for this item in the flyer. I don't see any. Do you have anymore? Hmmmm you don't. Okay. Well can you offer me another reel at the same price? I drove and hour and a half to come to your sale and I really wanted this reel." I have learned with a little patience and understanding you can get a lot more out of the employee rather than ranting. Just Sayin.

None of the above. I went with Christie. He knows the lake intimately. He hasn't fished it much the last 4 to 5 years. It is going to be a jerkbait bite that wins IMO.

Last time I went to Bixhoma, I purchased the permit at the police station. If you go that route stop by there first because it's a nice little trip back if the water treatment pkace is closed. As far as Hudson, it is a good lake. I personally haven't fished it much.
