  1. Well the same thing happened to me with a X7 and Met if it makes you feel better, luckily I was only in 3 feet of water... Still sucked though haha.
  2. Rage Craw on a jig rig is amazing. Also use em as trailers all the time.
  3. ^Yep. Good guess haha. Sadly I won't get to use it till next Friday...
  4. Just got this in today. Bad picture since I was in a hurry to go to my classes...
  5. I use plano 3701. I find that the extra space in the regular 3700 never gets used anyways so the 3701 save a little weight and space. This is very important for me since I fish from the bank the majority of the time.
  6. I could be completely mistaken, and I don't fish millerton much, but I think I read somewhere that there originally were quite a few in the lake, but the spotted bass are out-competed them which is why their numbers have gone down significantly... Again I could be totally wrong...
  7. I have a crankbait problem too... I keep buying them, even though I never throw them. Its gotten really bad this year since I started to buy more JDM cranks... Most of the time I just think they look good so I tell myself I have to buy them haha.
  8. I haven't fished the frogs but I'm pretty sure I watched a video or read somewhere which recommended using an owner 6/0 beast hook.
  9. Curado I hasn't been out long enough to justify... Although you should also consider a chronarch/curado 50. They handle lighter lures better.
  10. I had the same thing happen to me when I first took apart my chronarch 201e6 except it was the side plate screws. I actually stripped two of them but managed to get them out by placing a flathead diagonally on the screw and tapping the butt of the screwdriver. I wouldn't recommend doing it that way though since it did leave a few scratch marks. Did notice that there was some sort of blue "glue" or whatever on the screws though which was probably why the screws were hard to remove.
  11. Imo, if you are only going to use it for bass I don't see why you wouldn't get a shallow spool. I'm using 6# line and have never come close to unspooling. It also saves you a lot of line.
  12. Depends on your budget... But you might want to look into the shimano vanquish. I have one and it's so light sometimes I forget I even have a reel in my rod. Not to mention it is a fantastic performing reel... You can find them on rakuten for a pretty good price. I was in the same position a few months ago, but picked up the vanquish instead.
  13. I don't fish millerton much, and I fish from the shore so my experience may be different, but green pumpkin is usually the best color. Senko or trick worm wacky usually works well.
  14. I'm currently using a Megabass Orochi X4 Aaron Martens limited paired with a vanquish C2500HGS and 6# tatsu. I think most M or ML 7' or longer spinning rods paired with light line, preferably fluorocarbon, should be sufficient. To me the most important part of it is the light line, which gives the lure more action...
  15. Not much sales here, although they brought in a whole bunch of new stuff... Good stuff too...
