A blonde goes into the beauty and hair parlor with her walkman on her head. "I need to take that walkman off your head," says the beauty specialist as she notices the blonde. "You can't! I'll die!" retorts the blonde. "I can't cut your hair with the walkman on your ears!" says the beauty specialist getting annoyed. "I said you can't take it off, or I'll die!" The beauty specialist, outraged and flustered, grabs the walkman and throws it off the head of the blonde. Within seconds, the blonde dies. When the specialist picks up the walkman to listen, she hears it repeating "breath in, breath out, breath in".

There are so many fish I would love to fish for. Rainbow Trout-Sure, I have caught a few in stocked ponds, but I'm lookin' for some serious rainbow fishing. I would love to fly fish for 'em someday. King Salmon-I hear they are huge fighters. Smallmouth Bass-Pretty sad for being a member of BASSresource.com, but I've never caught a bronzeback. Marlin, Tuna, Redfish, Maui Maui-Any of those saltwater fish. Peacock Bass-I hear they are huge fighters. Great White Shark-They have to fight hard. ;D Northern Pike-Going for a 40 incher someday! Stripers-Fish Chris' striper post in the "My Fishing Tournament of Outing" section got me going. Halibut-Delicious! Have I left anything out? Oh well, for now I'm happy with largemouth bass.

Yes, according to the website, ReelMech does do spinning reels. Okay, one more stupid question. Is any type of oil and lube okay for my baitcaster? Abu Garcia makes oil and lube and sells it online, but the shipping is pretty high.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I will not be using it for saltwater anytime soon. One more question ;D. Does Bass Pro do stuff like that disassembling the reel and cleaning it. Although I could probably do it myself, I don't really have confidence in myself ;D. Thanks again.

I just got an Abu Garcia Ambasseduer Record and in the manuel it says to rinse with water after each trip. To do this, do I have to take the line out of the reel, or is it okay to leave it in? Again, another elementary question. Sorry, and thanks for any replies.

I've used them a couple times. I have the black color with blue flakes. They are a pretty good bait, but I prefer other creature baits like the similar Zoom Brush Hog.

For clear water, muddy water or what? Natural colors are better for clear water, so that's probably what he's talking about, but I'll let him speak for himself . My favorite are Baby Bass and Bluegill for clear water, and Green Tiger for murky. However, I have caught plenty of bass on the bluegill pattern in murky water.

Thanks Chris. I was talking to my granpa who has the Record that I have used. He said a Ugly Stik Lite in a medium action was a good one. Another Elementary Question: What does the "Lite" mean in "Ugly Stik Lite." BTW, I'll probably get the 50 series Record.

Actually, I haven't bought the reel yet. I have used my grandpa's a couple times and loved the feel of them. I am going to get it Saturday, but I haven't decided whether to get the 40 or 50 series yet. I know I sound clueless posting so many questioms that are probably really elementary, but what is the difference and which one is better and/or cheaper? Thanks

I know a guy who has one, and he has a little trouble casting it. If you do a lot of twithcin' and walkin' the dog type stuff, it looks like a good choice, though.

The only one I've fished is Rad Lures, so I don't really know. Usually though, the original is the best, and Rad is the original. I noticed that the Gambler has a football head. What does that do to the action of the lure?

I started the topic "Best Baitcaster Under $100" and got some great replies. Thanks guys. However, I actually chose one to get for a little over $100, the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Record. Now, I don't know what rod to get. I am getting the 6.3:1 gear ratio reel, and want a medium action rod that I can be versatile with. Also, I'd like it to be $40 or less. I know that is cheap for a rod, but like I said, I am on a tight budget. I would really appreciate any replies.
