Do I need to be an Under Armour writer or Columist be cause I tend wear a lot of their goodies this time of year? Does the average college football or basketball fan need special permision or certain creditials before they wear a shirt or ball cap of their favorite school or team? Is it enough that I have over 1500 bucks in Lews reels, or do I have to be a sponsored tournament angler before I can wear a Lews ball cap and put a Lews patch on my fishing shirt? The way I see it, it is not tacky. It is one of your bass resource brothers representing OUR site. Glenn made this site for everybody that loves to fish and desires to learn more. For all we know a tournament angler, an old guy at the tackle shop, or a business owner may see the shirt amd log on for the first time and become part of this.... And even bigger, this potential new comer may add a lot of value to the bass resource family. Hell, it may even attract new sponsors to the site. My opinion.

Pretty smart

Every time I go out ( which wasn't much this summer and fall), I make a real attempt at getting better at this awesome craft. Wheather its roll casting into a quieter entry, skipping, perfecting and trying different or my weaker techniques, or just making logical attempts to pattern fish or using my electronics better, I always go out with the mindset to work on being a better fisherman. What are some of the things that some of you actively concentrate on or things you have done both on and off the water to get better as a bass fisherman? And do you go with this mind set ? I'm eager to to hear what some of u do

With exception to my cranking and jerkbait rods I pretty much use braid on all of my rods. I use fluoro leaders but in stained or water with thick vegetation I fish it with straight braid

30 lb spiderwire with 12 lb Sniper is generally what I use, in thicker stuff ill use 50 lb braid or 20 lb fluoro

SunLine and Seagar make good lines. Sniper is my favorite

. About 7000 tic go on sale in charlotte Tmw at 1000am. They are expected tonlast about 20 mins. I'm probably gonna take my chances trying to fond them at the stadium. Winter is a great time to learn patience with jigs. Keep in mind your presentation will have to be slower. Football jigs are a staple of how o fish on the winter time. I look for ledges, channel drops, and humps. And ill typicallly fish those with a heavier jig like 3/4 to 1.5. I still stick with natural colors like greens and Browns. I also look for brush piles, submerged trees and brush, and boat docks. Depending on depth ill go a little lighter like 1/2 or 3/8. I have a couple boxes of jigs bit its not truely necessary. I like having 5 or six of my colors in 3 or 4 did weights

What do yall think of some of the Head coach firings? Shanahan fired. I think it was the right move Leslie Frazier fired. Wrong move. They have a talented roster, just horrid at the qb.. I would have gave him another season. Chudzinski Fired. Wrong move... I mean hell he just got there Kubiak was fired several weeks ago.. I think I it was time to move on... But I would have been ok of they kept him for one more year..

In other news, apparently Santa Clause did not bring Matt Ryan a decent offensive line for Christmas. I'm a rabid Carolina fan and I'm happy we sacked him 9 times but I started to feel bad for him. He was getting the hell knocked out of him everytimebhe dropped back... The offensive line for Atlanta is horrid. Happy that Carolina has a bye and a home game. We need those two weeks hopefully to get 89 back. And I have noticed that Charlotte has become a very difficult place to play... Either Greenbay or SanFran will coming..

Nothing wrong with trying other products. I had a handful of Curados when I tried a Lews Tournament reel. I've been buying Lewd ever since. Now I still love shimano reels and respect them but I felt that Lewd were as good for a lesser cost. I don't think the OP was bashing
