  1. i might have been fired.... i'd have had to stay and keep on fishing! nice going there man!
  2. just found the solution to the drone problem.... well actually 2 different solutions, one just as cool as the other! http://www.popsci.com/skywall-is-an-anti-drone-net-bazooka http://www.popularmechanics.com/flight/drones/a18942/michigan-tech-drone-mounted-net-cannon/
  3. i have a couple 2 piece rods i keep in the truck and take on the river. i can't discern a difference from the 1 and 2 piece rods, but only 2 piece rods will fit behind my truck seat
  4. you must have misread or misinterpreted my comment.... i said nothing of changing the game, nor anything regarding freedom. what i'm saying is those advanced equipment implementations you speak of cannot and will not happen when an entity such as the NFL coerces the studies in a way that manipulates the facts and avoids the medical issue.
  5. i'm no expert on reels, trust me. BUT there's also not a lot to go wrong with the cast control parts either i don't think. i'd say it's something with how you reassembled the spring/spacers.
  6. get you one of these, fill it with bread, dog food or cat food.... that's how my brother and i would catch them as kids.
  7. if it ain't broke, don't fix it....
  8. you positive that you've got the spring and spacers back in there properly?
  9. all these dinks.... where's the piggie spots at? no 8 pound spots on that trip? LOL
  10. senko be like "show me where this pond is please"
  11. of the half dozen or more times i've played in Mexico, with the exception of one time, i've seen a crocodile or two, sometimes 3 or so on one hole! playing in hilton head, i've seen some small alligators.... BUT i'd **** my pants if i saw that dinosaur on the course. i used to have some crocodile golf course pics on my phone, but don't know what happened to them.... i do still have this though, this was on a course in Mexico, the concrete you see is the golf cart path!
  12. nice one there!
  13. Poker.... But really, best of luck man! Enjoy yourself!
  14. same here.... save that coin for some more baits!!
  15. that's some gnarly looking soup he's swimming in! nice catch!
  16. i've been catching most of mine on a senko, shallow right around that last hour and a half before dark. i might also suggest the jig since you're only looking for 3 fish in a short time. that jig could land the pig you'd need to win it!
  17. the pipe you mentioned is a good target too.... fish will often congregate around the drain pipe.
  18. dude that's a toad of a toad!
  19. t1 is my spinnerbait of choice, but aside from that, it's war eagle/war eagle finesse.
  20. sounds like a great time to me man!
  21. i think i would be totally content with using the fury series for all my moving baits and saving up the coin to go champion extremes on the bottom contact. the fury series is nice, no better or worse than the savvy, but cheaper. i think the champion series is a nice middle of the road, but almost "too nice" for moving baits and not quite nice enough for the bottom contacts. the new extreme HP series is a sweeeeeeet rod. i have a 703SF in the new DXHP and it's a killer rod for the types of lures i've been using on it lately (wacky rig worm, shakyhead, small jig, etc.)
  22. the coosa is a sweet little ride for the river! i'd look at 10'-12' but not much longer. i have a 13.5' kayak and it works in the bigger slower moving waters, but it's a PITA to paddle the swifter spots that require more maneuvering!
  23. there's one in my neighborhood i've seen twice now.... sounds like a bee buzzing around. i too would opt for the anti-aircraft weaponry if i were more rural!
  24. i just use clear... i don't think it matters at all, but i can usually find the clear at walmart no problem.
  25. i was going to echo the above on being careful not to reel up the swivel into your guide tip. a small plastic or glass bead would probably help avoid that. i've broken the insert out of the tip on a small UL rod by reeling up the swivel into the tip, not cool!
