  1. Narrowed down to 3 Reels, I see Lews is having a $30 rebate too Lew's Tournament MB Speed Spool $139 Lew's Tournament Speed Spool $149 Lew's Tournament Lite Speed Spool $179 (weight is only 5.8!)
  2. Needing a good Lew's shaky head reel at 7:1:1 ratio, i love my lews. the new tourney lite has my interest i hear good reviews too. I see $30 rebate just not sure i want to pull the trigger on a $180 reel. Any other Lew's models to gauge my interest that others are using for shaky head let me know, Thanks!
  3. standing by for information gathering.
  4. The secret to fishing
  5. Thats what i been waiting on the new Micro Magics, i went new, but man if the olds start going on sale it will be hard to pass up! Whats the word on when they will start selling the new?
  6. Thanks for the new cranks! I had this fish yelling SOS! ha Fished the Hot Gill on labor day caught a nice 3.75# bass and then some Huge Sandys had to get a taste too! Id say we had about 5 sandys that were close to the 3# range, and they just killed it! I also fished with this on Tuesday night some and caught another chunk on HotGill color, that weighed just under 3# Loving my new cranks! Hooks sticky sharp, good wobble, cast great. If your looking to try out some Balsa cranks, I'd give these a try! 3.75 Hot Gill!
  7. Ordered some Sq Bills. Rdy to put to the test!
  8. Big M you say... i hear that man knows his cranks.
  9. Tempting, im a sucker for some Balsa Sq Bills. whats the feedback on these Siebert?
  10. I see they are releasing a Veritas 2.0 soon, $99, might want to wait to try out the new model.
  11. love my White Carrot Stix aka Ducketts no breakage issues here. plus the Duckett Ghost is a great $99 rod. Been using one for cranking and love it. To me the Veritas is a little to stiff. Dont know much about the newer Carrot Stix, they are no longer owned by e21 a different company is running things now. But i havnt heard much feedback on the new Co's version good or bad.
  12. Caffeine Shad FTW! KVD Magic is money in my Farm Pond.
  13. I love Lews Reels, but my OCD keeps whispering to me to get one to match the Rod
  14. *** just posted up about them "Micro Magic Pro Any issue you may have encountered with the Micro Magic line of rods have reportedly been addressed, tested and fixed with this new rod series without changing the action or performance. The Micro Magic Pro has a Carbon fiber scrim for added durability, high gauge ring-lock guides with braid-proof inserts, a double flanged tip, cut-proof EVA butt and more line-to-guide contact for better sensitivity. The Micro Magic Pro spinning rods have a really cool MicroWave line control system that’s said to offer superior line control because it is straightened exiting the first guide. We’re looking forward to trying it out!" And these won Best in Show for Freshwater Rods, and plus i like the original Micro Magic rods
  15. Bass are very tasty! i'd say the better meat on Bass is that 1-2# range. Any bigger the meat is not near as good.
  16. The design is growing on me. I know i have been "trained" to be nervous with Evinrudes, but what are they boasting now, 5 years no maintenance? that's pretty bold guarantee.
  17. http://www.nooooooooooooooo.com/
  18. Getting paid to do something is my definition of a pro. I've won a few dollars I'm a pro too!
  19. They dont catch fish quit using them, please mail to my personal disposal facility. ha yea but downsize to the smaller version for the smallies. Being from Muskogee just south of the birth place of ole Tommy B. i wish people would forget about the Biffle bug around here cause i bet by now every fish in the lake has seen a biffle bug. lol
  20. Lew's quickly became my favorite. I have had a Laser, SS, SS Tourney, SS Pro Tourney, cant go wrong with any model i say, just decide how much you want to spend, but the Tourney Pro is CRAAAAZY light. Even better looks like the Lews Speed Spool that started at 99 is now currently 89 + a $20 rebate, killer deal and killer reel.
  21. now being from the internet im not much on real life interaction but i may have to over come my phobia for this! ha
  22. I watched some of the videos and I'm interested but I really didn't follow the method to well? Can someone elaborate? I found 4 parts, or atleast which part has the best info? Thanks!
  23. Im a huge fan of Lew's heck even the $99 model is killer!
