Saturday i had some confirmation on a few of my go to lures. Not really a secret lure but i'd say square bill the real secret is on how its worked, i will say if you aint crash'n you wont be cash'n! ha I was sticking my 8' rod about 6' in the water to get it down deeper seems like when i got bit is when it was bumpin and running into things.

I plan to try one my self. I'd wait til TW memorial sale and that way you get 15% off I love them micro magics so I'm willing to give the ghosts a chance.

i was reading about this last year and from what i gathered from here Trailer Hook is the best trailer you can put on a spinner bait. Caught many a fish on just the trailer hook. On my bigger spinnerbaits i havnt had any problems running a grub and a trailer hook if i am needing that bigger profile.

Heading out to Grand lake to see if we can find any of those ole black bass. Whats the word for Grand right now? Does Grand have a go to color? Anything is helpful about all we have at our hands is a newly purchased lake map.

our club events they provided weigh-in bags or if you want use your own. But its not a bad idea to have your own cause sometimes there's not that many to go around, plus if you plan to fish a jackpots you will need a weigh in bag or atleast the JP around here you use your own weigh-in bag. Now like the big ABA or BFL weekend series i know they use their bags.

Just a little over a year ago I made a friend via the Forums that never knew lived probably just a short 10 mins from me. We started fishing tournaments last year and kicked off our 2nd tourney of this year by cashing our first Team check! We are both learning our local lakes and to say we have cashed a check has been a huge boost in moral and motivation that we are going the right direction in figuring out the puzzle. 5th Place finish on Lake Tenkiller with 17.70 BigBassBarry & TrapperJ

The Mexican lakes really got me into fishing more serious. Comendero, El Salto, Bassarac. Exactly any cast could be a 10+ but while your waiting plenty of 2+ pounders that just want to rip the rod out of your hands. Catching over 50 fish a day, it will almost ruin you too ha Last trip was about 2 years ago with my grandfather before he passed we went to El Salto. No monsters but lots of fish in the 2-4 range. A few over 5 and got to watch Grandpa catch one more 6 pounder at the lake he loved.

Sweet, i heard something about the seam being visible and it is. I want to fish with these bad boys since they are looking to be OG wiggle warts with all the love i keep hearing about the originals. But hey are the suspending models in the regular wiggle warts. I assume still good little cranks?

Yup there's a seam! And I can see the name bottom of the bill. Not familir with the suspending ones? Any good? No much about those bigger versions?

Here is my garage sale find when I saw the wiggle warts and he was about mid 40s age, I couldn't resist, are these the pre rapala ones? The 3 small ones that look like typical wiggle warts are suspending. The two big ones look like big wiggle warts. Anyone know or how to identify? I paid a $1.00 each. Thanks for the info! Pics now ha!

No idea i just like the looks myself and probably helps on weight a little. Until my eyes go, micro for me. Regular guides just seem insanely large anymore.

I've got some BigM's cranks in my box who by they is an excellent guy and those cranks look great! But the other custom/balsa crank i wanted to add to my arsenal was some Zoom E2. But since they are about $22 each i dont want to go buying a ton since im not exactly crank bait poor at the moment. So im thinking atleast 2 maybe 3. Whats some good solid colors. Other than the old black back chart which i have plenty in other models. Right now I'm leaning Classic / Chart and Bull Bream. The water around here in Oklahoma especially the waters i fish tend to have some color to them. Thanks!

oh man heads up looks like TW has some new colors now... must... resist.. urge to... buy... That smallmouth magic color looooooooks real good to me.

i said i wasnt going to get the BPS brand when i was in store the other day but since they were on sale about $2 off, i grabbed the "sight fish" color white with a clear/flake back since i was wanting a white, and that was about the only color i had lacking in the Keitchs. ha But wow do they look identical, they must be a hit cause they were pretty well picked over, especial the sight fish, and a sexy shad pattern looked to be the big seller of the bunch.

Love the old Opening Theme music, they should bring it back one time or do a modern update.

i have more medium action rods than anything i to been keeping my eye on a potential SqB Rod. But leaning Duckett just cause i favor those rods. my thinking is MH for bigger SqB and a M for smaller SqB?

Whats the inside story on Duckett and e21? Were all friends here post it for public knowledge, or PM me if you have too. My understanding was Duckett didnt like that e21 rods were not up to his specs, the constant breakage issues we all heard about, and e21 terrible warranty process. I can't blame him for leaving, its like "hey look you wanted my input on rods if your not gonna listen why am i here." Now i wasnt behind the scenes or anything, thats just what i have gathered over my time researching rods. @21farms LOL i was rolling when that happened, and KVD at some point said "I dont know what every one else's problem is its not that hard." lol
