Let's Talk Ducketts.
I don't understand the hate but it was solid reviews is what got me to try them and now I own 4. Out of all the rods I currently own and have owned they are my favs. Will be adding a JB rod and a crankin ghost rod soon. It was hard to get me to try a white rod always just liked black rods. I've had one broken rod and it was painless. Just mailed in a $15 check and cut a chunk of the rod off with the logo and boom new rod to my door in no time, and no questions asked no warranty card to fill out no hunting for receipts. After that made me love my ducketts even more. I'm not some huge Boyd Duckett fan I can take him or leave him but I do enjoy his rods.

I dont have my book in front of me and i have to still yet mount my LSS2 do you want to mount it on the Right side of the prop correct? if you facing the prop? I wanted to reuse my 2d Ducer holes on the left side, but it looks like to keep the LSS2 in the sweet spot it will be pretty much in line with the 2d, my understanding is you dont want to to close to the motor? or to far away? Correct me or Educate me please, thanks!

Sleeping The Night Before A Tournament/outing
Sleep? Sleep? Whats sleep? Maybe a nap if im lucky haha What usually happens things never go according to plan on tourney night for me. Some of its my fault i like to make a last setup/organization run the night before. guess i should plan to do that earlier. Or it never fails baby decides to stay up late with me that night too. ha Last week by the time i got all geared and rigged and got the little one down (daddys girl goes to sleep faster if i put her down), i stayed up till 1:30am, sleep by 2am up by 5am out the door by 5:45am and practiced casting all day lol but even if i was ready and in bed early i know id be setting on my iPad cruising the forums i just dont get sleepy early plus with the thoughts of going fishing and being excited im wide awake.

What To Throw In 40-45 Degree Water?
We pre fished today and it was tuuuuuuuuuuff! we were mostly covering a lot of water to look around and scout areas we got a game plan now going into Saturday. We fished, but not near slow enough I'm sure. It's hard to slow down. U just gotta make yourself do it though. We threw JB, finesse jig, biffle bug, shakey head, spy bait, cranks, rattle traps. Hopefully what little bit of warm weather we are getting might get those lock jawed fish to open their mouths little more.

What To Throw In 40-45 Degree Water?
oh yeah cant forget those Rattle Traps! Man just wouldnt have thought about Sq Bills this early. Yup got those chatterbaits standing by, i was thinking about spinner baits but figured Chatterbait more over the spinner baits. The the lake has some good rocks with some color to it. Im sure we wont be the only ones targeting that area.

Bps Carbonlite Vs Abu Garcia Veritas
I have both, if you like a stiffer rod get the Veritas. I have a MIcro Carbonlite and its been a solid rod. Its just not my favorite rod but for the price its hard to beat. Also the Veritas are about to drop in price too.
