Cooler Livewell?
Don't forget the weight you are adding to your boat.100 qt. =25 gal x8.34#H20/gal=208.5#. That is like another person.

Battery charging problem...
It could be either but if the battery is 5 years old I'd bet on it being the problem and if it was 3 years old I'd still suspect the battery. Have your battery load tested. Wal-Mart does it around here. If it's not the battery be sure you don't have a bunch of fish line around the TM shaft and be sure your terminal are corrosion free.

Pond Scenario-Why don't the bass get any bigger?
Your state fisheries might be able to help.

Keeping your tackle hidden from wifee?
I can't remember my wife ever complaining more than just a comment like. " Don't you have one of those. "

Hey guys! Tell me how you view women fishing with you?
I have little input on this one. My wife won't fish and I truly wish she would. My only possibilities are not many look at this forum and/or they are sensitive about asking a question they perceive as stupid. Which of course is the only thing stupid about not asking the question.

Poll: Rod Sensitivity Casting vs. Spinning
IMO sensitivity has nothing to do with spinning or baitcasting but a l;ot to do with the construction.

How long is line good for?
I've got some that must be nearly 10 tears old and it's still fine. Think about how long it takes nylon to breakdown.

Do you switch hands when you cast a baitcaster?
I palm the reel during the retrieve so even if I cast righty and crank lefty I'll still need to move the right casting hand to palm the reel. I've done this for so many years I can switch the reel to my left hand while the lure is going out. Maybe seem odd but I cast a spinning outfit righty and crank lefty.

How close is to close?
I usually go in behind the guy fishing my intended shore ask him if he plans on coming back and if he doesn't I go the other way. If he is coming back through I find another spot.

Trilene XL vs XT?
I used XT for years because of it's abrasion resistance. During those times I was fishing water with a lot of wood, lilly pads and weeds. I moved and now fish lakes with very little wood and even less vegetation and switched to XL for it's castability. I've been satisfied with both although A few years ago I started using flouro much more and use it for every thing except surface and other baits I want to keep high in the water column.

Quality reel for a hundred bucks ?
I have Shimano's, Daiwa's, Quantum's, Pflueger's and BPS' and really have no favorites. Except for the reel feeling tight and smooth don't worry about the number of bearings. Beyond about 3 bearingd don't increase castability. All the reel companies use the same quality bearings so to improve bearing quality you need to order after market bearings. I see little need to do that unless your bearings have failed and I've never had a bearing failure. Watch for sales and pick a reel that seems right for you.

Will Leaving Plastic Baits on your Hooks Really Rust Them?
I've had it happen in a short time with heavily salted baits. You don't need to chew on a Senko just touch it to your tongue. Probably a reason they work and are so fragile.

How does KVD do it???
I'd wager that any of the big time pro's who think the Hydrowave works has one. State law and BASS draw the lines. It has not been all that long when motors were restricted to 150hp or less by BASS.

Trailer Maintenance
I put the front of the hitch socket on the middle of the ball open the hitch and slide the trailer forward which keeps the hitch from being pushed out of position. Other tips are right on. I go over every bolt and other fasteners to be sure they are tight every spring and usually again during the summer.

How does KVD do it???
I'd bet against the, "He cheats". While I haven't seen him in years I knew Kevin on a first name basis before he turned pro(I moved a 1,000 miles and he travels a bunch so it is very rare he and I are in Kalamazoo at the same time). He was just a fine young man then and I doubt very much that he has changed. A credit to our sport. I'd say his success is like that of most other athletes; conditioning, planning, setting objectives, concentration, attention to detail, a game plan with back ups when plan A fails, time management and a bit of luck mostly self generated. Add in a very very supportive family!!!!

Product Pushing: Way Too Much
If they don't plug their sponsors and the product doesn't sell you won't have any fishing shows to watch.

Music on board?
I'm with Roger and Tom. I want to hear the outdoors including a fish feed or jump and maybe nearby bait fish.

NRX
My last issue with rod color was when I walked back to the van with a new spinning rod my wife asked if I didn't some of those already. My response was, "Yes but I don't have a maroon one to use on Wednesdays" That must be over 25 years ago and she hasn't asked that question since.

first boat
Thank you for serving us and may god protect you. Many years ago I wanted to upgrade from a 14ft tinnie. I bought a used as I remember 6 or 7 years old glass boat, TM, 115hp, live wells etc. I did spend a little on it fixing up a few things and a lot of elbow grease and sold it in 7 years for $100 less than I paid. If I lived on Ontario I'd look for a used glass boat 19 feet or more because sooner or later you will want to fish the big lake or atriler to bigger waters. God bless!

Does your wal-mart carry anything good?
The store I visit most often was carrying a pretty good variety of lures, rods and reels so I would swing through the department pretty often. In the last 2 or 3 years most of what they carry has become low grade so I don't even walk through the department any more unless I am going passed it for another purpose.

Favorite bass show?
The ice is probably 18"+ on the lakes, the snow is 2' deep in the yard, snow banks on the roads are high enough that you have to peek around before you pull, out into traffic ice out maybe by mid April out so any of them look good.

Trolling Motor LBS Thrust
You have a 16 foot john boat so I would think any thing over 60# would push you along pretty well for a full day and a 24 v setup would be fine. You need to think about the weight in your boat and how much you will be adding with the batteries. With your boat I sure wouldn't be thinking about a 36v TM.

grubs help
If your lake has a rocky bottom you will probably have better luck with football heads since they are a bit better in not getting hung up in the rocks. All of the grubs work well I especially like Yamamoto's Hula Grubs.

bass with big teeth
I have bass fished for over 60 years and have never had a bass cut my line and actually have had very few pike or pickeral (less than 2 a year) cut me off. The only thind I can think of other than a different kind of fish is a defective guide on your rod(s).

Most organized work station......(in a chaotic way)....
Since a neat desk is the sign of a sick mind and a neat tackle bench is the sign of a sicker mind you guys need to get help. LOL! My wife won't even let the driver of the fuel oil truck come into my man's cave.
