Most of my reels will have the same line throughout one season...once in a while ill respool a reel during the season (sometimes because of a blow up or ill get low on the spool from reties and or breakoffs)...and im out 2-3 times a week

I tir the braid over the flouro. Never had an issue with tarpon, snook, reds, and permit. Well i had issues bit it wasnt a knot problem. Wrecks,crab traps, bridge pilings, straightened hooks, tail whips, sharks, etc caused the issues lol

Check you state and local regs for tying off to a pilling or abutment I tend to just use my trolling motor to hold position around bridges. Then again it isnt often that i ever anchor

Am the only guy who has never lost a bait to a pickerel? I catch tons of them in norther PA and NY with 12# , 14# 20# flouro and 20# and 40# staight braid. Have never been cut off in 20 years by a pickeral. Now pike and musky on the otherhand have taken a few from me

What are the main differences between the zodias and e6x? other than grip and reel seat I am leaning e6x just because of the cork grip...i just dont like eva grips...they feel wierd to me lol

I went to braid with a 6' flouro leader and a vmc spinshot last year....line twist issues no more! I use an albright not for the braid to leader and a palomar knot to the hook

I have a regular vixen and holy crap its awesome. Very unique sound, casts for days, and simple to walk. It is very similar to the sammy as far as performance and ease of use but the sound is all its own Great bait i would not drop 100 on one though...or even 40$ lol

Listen. I had a friend in FL that used to detail cars. He used to detail my car twice a year to the tune of 250 dollars each time. He would spend 5hours plus doing it He spent a few hundred bucks on a nice buffer and an additional few hundred on supplies every so many weeks. Kid put himself through college and bought a lightly used pathfinder bayboat. he know works for a car magazine He turned 400 bucks into a college education and nice boat
