Yes it does, a tan is actually sun damage too! As someone else said, the damage is cumulative. My grandpa worked outside all his life and he didn't really burn, just tanned, as a side effect from workimg hard. He was diagnosed with advanced melanoma 2 years ago, by the time it was caught it had spread and was literally everywhere in his body, he passed away just over a year ago. Protect yourself! Nutrogena Ultrasheer sunscreens are the least greasy and longest lasting protection available, a little more expensive but absolutely worth it. And, if you use a flex spending account for medical & prescriptions you can put sunscreen on it. I always buy 80+ and apply before I leave the house, it takes 20 mins or so for it to reach full protection.

Whatever you do, do it quick before they boomerang! Been there, done that times 3 kids, everyone of them boomeranged an couple of times before we got them out for good. Love em, but I love them more now that they have their own places.

Yikes, just found out my son has a baseball game at 8pm the night before we leave. We are leaving about 3am!!

Those are kind of out of my home area and since they are not Corp of Eng lakes the info is not readily available. I can tell you that there are a lot of lakes in Okla and most of them are OK. If changing lakes is acceptable then go ahead and bring the boat, go to a Corp of Eng lake, they usually can keep the lake levels high enough for recreation.

More than ready for a vacation, still need to help BassnChris with his check list of things to do and to pack my gear. He won't like this but I am planning to bring my big camera and take lots of pics, hopefully get some great images to use in collages and such.
