  1. Just got my rod and reel the guy at the tackle shop recommended 20 lb fc but all i continue to hear is 50lb braid
  2. I have the bps extreme in the 7'6" do you guys think that would work
  3. Spots kill them I was fishing one close to a dock like 5 inches away from the wood and one came out and killed mine
  4. Got mine waiting on my Siebert jigs to fish them on I may go ahead and try them t rigged for the time being
  5. An buddy of mine suggested I get the Berkley lighting rod shock series 7'6" heavy action casting rod for the a rig opinions and suggestions are appreciated

  17. No its actually like the strands of the skirt are inside of a rubber band that was around the jig head and the band broke off

  20. Bass are preadators, they will try to eat anything. If they think they can fit it in their mouth they will try. A buddy of mine has a pond that has no bait fish in it but the bass are still living they are feeding on something. We saw a few tadpole around the rim of the pond but they have to eat just like we do. If pushed to the point of starvation people have eaten people. Never rule out anything in nature
  21. I was curious about how to retie a jig skirt I finally got a chance to go to bps and got a swim jig. Now this jig is only supposed to hold me over until I make my seibert outdoor order, but as soon as i got home the freakin skirt fell off. It is attached to a rubber band type thing and that broke. so i was going to put a new skirt on, but I dont know how. Any advice would help. Thanks in advance.
  22. I bought a koppers live target crankbait when I first started not knowing better but I like the rapala bluegill color baits they work great and the mattlures bluegill swimbait is beautiful and will catch some big bass from what I have seen but haven't fished it myself
  23. Got my first two packs of db craws today and can't wait to try them
