  1. Yeah we fork over tons of money to countries that are supposedly our friends. Pakistan and Turkey to name two. Turkey is a country that has committed genocide and countless inhumane actions and Pakistan is on the verge of becomming one of the most terrifying things on the planet...a dictatorship with intercontental ballistic missiles. I don't see the point of paying potential enemies to be our friends. It would be one thing if England or some reputable country needed our assistance, but it is quite another when a country that is controlled by terrorist or radical governments and is filled with anti-American sentiments or an outright hatred for our way of life is getting a HUGE portion of taxpayer dollars. We fork over money so foriegners can have health benefits, high-tech militaries, and civil services that our country is lacking. What about the auto-plants in Michigan that are closing shop or moving overseas? What about the manufacturers that are laying off Americans and hiring illegals? What about the construction businesses here in the south that are being hammered by cheaper and often illegal "alien worker" companies? Or how about us everyday blue collar boys that can hardly afford the gas to get to work? Those issues need to be addressed before starving in Africa, peace in the middle east, Soviet Block economic relief, and the "war" on terrorism that, in my personal opinion, is becomming tiresome and ineffective. I love America and all she stands for, but she has GOT to get her priorities straight. We have all the tools and resources to have the most powerful economic force in the world, but our dependency to oil, meddling in foreign affairs, and outrageous spending is getting us into a hole. It's funny how the government wants me to pay all of my bills but they can't and won't pay their own. They want to do too much and have too little, really. I'd love to go to BPS and blow my entire paycheck but I don't. I have more important issues, like feeding kids, keeping the repo man away from my trucks, and making sure my house is taken care of. You gotta take care of the home front before you can spend on wants and desires. There is NO law that says Pakistan has to have millions and millions of American dollars otherwise the repo man will take the White House. I mean, honestly...
  2. When it comes to money, I am the exact opposite of a patriot. I have all of my life's savings and long term investments in Euros right now along with 2.5million Iraqi Dinar in my safety deposit box. So if America's economy goes down the President's crapper and if Iraq's economy comes back, I'll be doin alright. A lot of the problem is the enormous amount of wasted spending going into the 'war.' A pullout is going to become more necessary is Bush keeps wanting to blow 200billion at a time. There is no way in earth that is a justified amount. If it were justified, then we would have seen some of it on my end. With the exception of the new MRAP's, weren't getting ANYTHING new in Iraq. Body armor, personal weapons, vehicles...nadda. Our Bradleys that were blown to bits were replaced by 15 year old pieces of junk from the Kuwait draw yard. I'd love to know where that 200billion is going. I really and honestly believe that Congress and the White House should be forced to print the taxpayers a reciept online. Someone has to be able to keep these dolts accountable
  3. That is probably one of the most impressive things I've seen in a long time. Does that guy do crankbaits??
  4. Wow... that's all I can say...wow. What a dolt.
  5. LITTERBUG!!!!!!! HARD DRIVES IN THE LAKE :o
  6. Unless you're fishing extremely clear water, I'll second this.
  7. I like to use jerkbaits off of main lake points that are close to or in between the winter haunts and the spawning grounds. Prespawn is really a staging and transition time, so you'll have to move around a bit. Sticking with points and deep water close to flats is a good move. Also, if you can, focus on structure on the northwest corner of the lake. That part of the lake heats up the fastest if I remember correctly.
  8. If those are real, you could buy a brand new Ranger with it...cash.
  9. That's why you have to be vague. So me and you will just call it "typical"
  10. Another note, if the water isn't clear, then really it doesn't matter what types of forage are there as far as colors go. It's hard to beat a 7inch curl tail texas rigged power worm in dingy water. If it is clear, then look at your tackle. If you're catching fish, then you're on the right track already. Your most productive colors might give you some insight to what the fish are eating.
  11. Do I count as a MOOK? I am rocking the shirt right now, after all. Yeah...I'll count myself in as a MOOK.
  12. Congrats man. Ronnie is one of the guys that gave me tips when I was trying to lock down some techniques. The man knows his stuff.

Sometimes that's the hardest thing to do but it's always the right decision. I'll keep ya in my prayers buddy
  14. So, and I'll let muddy or avid correct me if I'm wrong...these guys are jealous of a hairless 40 year old trapped in a 10 year old's body??? Thank god I'm 6'1, 220, with the bod, tan, and looks of a movie star. ;D
  15. Mine said "if you want to brian." ;D 120deg heat, 100lbs of gear, 15months of combat...no beer gut here. Working on it though ;D
  16. So instead of a bikini would a rubber band work? Gotta love those tube tops ;D
  17. Or you can tell just by knowing the area. I used to do some crawfishing near my hometown in louisiana, so I'm well in-tuned with what those suckers look like throughout the season. Guides, tackeshops, marinas are all great sources of information like that. The pros aren't wizards, they just know how to gather their information and sort it out. That's just part of being a pro, I suppose
  18. I'd fish it here in texas. Looks like a color that I like to use. You're work always rocks man.
  19. Get your wallet ready http://www.bobstackleshack.com/ I had to ask....
  20. hey swampman...I love the swimbait. where did you get the mold for that? The only swimbait mold that I can find is on del-mart. Same one or no??
  21. Lmao There is nothing more to say ;D
  22. where do you get your molds for your plastics? delmart has a lot of stuff, but not exactly what I'm looking for. How did the testing go? you like the football head?
  23. Sometimes while leaves and stuff like that is in decay, it will actually deoxygenate the water for awhile, causing productivity to go down. If you did this just recently, wait for all the acids, leaves, sap, and all of that to break down. Might take awhile, but you should get back to normal. If it has been awhile, then either the fish may have moved elsewhere (winter haunts) or that tree top is cursed :-?
