  1. I use a 6'6" MF IMX (old style), and it performs perfectly for 1/4 poppers up to 1/2 walking baits. I think the Daiwa could be similar.
  2. Chilled beet soup. Looked good.....deep red and totally liquid. Terrible. Worse than it sounds.
  3. Yeah, I loaded up on them online from TW.
  4. 6/0 Owner Beast - unweighted
  5. I had a pair of 580G Green Mirrors that spider cracked on the water going 60 or so. I know I can send them back and get them covered under warranty, but I'm leery of them shattering again. Even if that was just a defective pair....I'm nervous. I bought a pair of Strike King in Green tint until I figure out what to do...and they are close to as good as my Costas.
  6. 6/0 owner beast unweighted works well for me.
  7. It does flip over at times, and I haven't found a toad in that class that doesn't. The beast helps, as does the screw lock. I will fish an Air Frog most of the time (uprights itself) but the frog is my favorite in the BPS plastic lineup.
  8. Yeah, the plastic "humpin toad". I rig it on an unweighted Owner Beast with a twist lock. I fish it in and around thick grass and pads.
  9. BPS Frogs have produced well for me.
  10. No panic at all. Thanks for your opinion.
  11. Hey all, I have a BNIB CH100D7, and I need some help on what I should do with it. I pretty much and down to three options, and don't know where to go from here. 1) Fish it as is 2) Put a Hawtech handle on it with new bearings 3) Trade/Sell it I know this is a very strong reel, but don't know what I should do with it. How can this reel handle light lures? Cheers
  12. They are amazing animals, and haven't given me (or anyone I know) any safety issues. They will get occasionally get curious on a frog being walked or fish being reeled in, but no worries fishing around them.
  13. BPS in Charlotte >>>>>>>>>>> BPS in Orlando The Charlotte store gave me an incredible shopping experience and a terrific inventory. If the Orlando BPS had the same quality of inventory, I'd deal with the other BS. It is pretty clear that they pound Orlando REALLY hard on the timeshares....as I'm sure the majority of consumers are not Central Florida residents.
  14. I own a KLX Punching stick, which I received fairly recently and only fished with a handful of times. So far, I like the stick a lot. Lightweight and very sensitive. The blank is great. It is comfortable to fish. As long as you know that you are getting a great blank with decent hardware....then you'll be satisfied. The wraps are basic, and the rod isn't flashly.....but it is a great fishing stick. I will be purchasing more KLX rods.
  15. Topwater soft plastic frogs. I've been having the best luck on a Damaki Air Frog.
  16. Froggin in Orlando. Lakes and Ponds, shore and boat....they are working like a charm.
  17. I throw lighter A Rigs on a 13 7'3 H as well as a 7'4" Rage H. Both with no issues.
  18. I've caught them on white in clear water, but my favorite is the baby bass from D&M. Paired with a Little Dipper, it purely catches fish.
  19. Single swimbaits (Keitech EZ Shiner) Wacky senko
  20. Good setups. Depending on the mess you plan to punch, might want to use the XH.
  21. Huh? You would use a weighted hook with a 1.5oz flipping weight?
  22. Big Swimbaits for me also. I bought a bunch of "good ones" and am now looking to sell/trade them. After throwing them for a little bit, I quickly realized that I don't have the patience to fish something I have zero confidence in, and don't really feel like building.
  23. I have a DNF30....no clue if that has the part you need, but if so...I would be willing to part with it.
  24. Swim Jig. I so badly want to turn the confidence for me with it, but I can't seem to catch fish. I know it is productive in the waters I fish.....but not for me.
