Going To Georgia!
Hey guys, looks like i will be driving to Atlanta on the 29th for work related training and staying for 6 weeks. I've never been to Georgia so i will be bringing some gear with me in hopes of getting some fishing in on the weekends. Anyone have advice on where i might have luck shore fishing since i wont have a boat? I'm wicked excited to fish some water that holds larger fish than what we normally see up north. I think my hotel is in Vinings. I'll have my truck so even spots off of the beaten path shouldn't be to hard to manage. Thanks in advance for any help!

Anyone Have Any Luck In Southern Nh Yet? (4/6/12)
It was awesome, I couldn't believe out of everything i tried it came on a crankbait. I was also surprised to see some fish already guarding beds....but it is a pretty shallow waterbody

Couldn't stand sitting around with a bum shoulder so i went out today a half hour before sunset and got my first LM of the season on a KVD 1.0 square-bill crank. wasn't anything impressive but i feels good regardless.

Drop Some Knowledge On Me!
I've been doing some research and found out both are made by the same company, and the wobbler is no longer produced which makes it seem like a cooler find to me! Interesting...none of the Rapala's I've got from the past few years say Ireland...Either says Finland or nothing at all on the lip. Awesome! I like trolling for trout, I think i'll be giving this one a shot this year!

Berkley Chigger Craw Question
I doubt JJ's will melt the bait itself. However i like to keep baits that i put JJ's on in a separate section of my plano box by themselves, I never put them back in the original bag or mix them with other plastics.

Yeah thats the section with the submerged road, I've been over their hunting, but most of my fishing is from the other section without the launch, the area with the floating islands blocking the launch so you can only get a canoe in

Any of you guys fish the section of Stumpfield that doesn't have a paved boat launch? I've never been to the side with the launch except during duck season.

Feathered Of Non-Feathered Trebles
I cant offer any advice on re-tying, but i know you can get replacement trebles online pre-dressed. I do fish quite a lot with panther martin and mepps inline spinners and always have much better luck with the ones that have dressed hooks.

Drop Some Knowledge On Me!
Today i remembered i had one of my fathers old tackle boxes out in the garage. The contents probably haven't seen the light of day in 10-15 years so i decided to check it out. I'm glad i did because i found some pretty cool stuff. The top one I'm sure is familiar to everyone, seems to be an old "Original Floater" in size F11 What interested me was the plastic lip said "Ireland"....how long ago were Rapala's made in Ireland? Now the bottom 2 im clueless for them, I'm going to say jigging deep water for stripers? The green one says "Acme Need-l-Eel" 3/4 oz on the back. and the bottom copper colored one says "FlashKing Wobbler 3/8 oz" Maybe someone can shed some light on the bottom ones, I'm psyched i found that rapala.

It's about 45 mins from manch depending on if you take the back roads or the highway up to 89

Pegged Or Unpegged
Isn't the main reason for pegging the weight to take the guesswork out of punching? To ensure the weight drags your bait through the cover to reach fish at a certain depth?

Bat & Fly From Megabass?
Has anyone used these yet? They seem kinda pricey, i don't know if they cost more because of the material or scent?

Wal Mart Big Bait Bonanza
They were tossed onto a little cardboard clearance rack...I couldn't believe it...i was strolling by and saw the normal stuff that you usually find on sale (generic assorted panfish kits) then i spotted the KVD's going for $3 a long with some rapala shad-raps going for $4. I love finding little deals like that.
