Copperstate has 300 yd. spools of PowerPro for $14.40 after the 20% discount. Price is the same for the 150 yd, so I'm guessing this is some sort of error on their site. We'll see what they actually deliver to the house.

This is a great find! I own 2 Bucco's (spinning and casting) and love them. I've been struggling to find them at less than $100 (which is still a great deal). Looks like I'll have to pick up another one now.

I own both the regular Reaper sweatshirt and the windproof versions. Absolutely love the regular sweatshirt! The Windproof version fits a bit different than the sweatshirt. A little more baggy around the mid section and tighter around the neck and hood. The hood is a little difficult to fit over your head. It also felt like air was easily able to get up under the windproof version and keep you cold. I would definitely lean towards the regular Reaper with a outer shell.

@MaineBassMan What part of the state are you fishing? Not looking for your secret spot or anything. Got a trip planned for Kezar Lake in a few weeks and wanted to get a feel for how the waters are looking up that way. Thanks!

Yum Vibra King. Dark Grasshopper color, which I think is discontinued now. The newer colors Snot Rocket and Summer Gill are pretty solid. I usually fish this weightless with a 5/0 VMC swimbait hook.

Picked up the Plus from Amazon the other day. Spooled up with 50 # Braid. Feels like a solid reel for the $$. ($45). I haven't had a chance to fish with it yet, just a few casts around the back yard. Didn't take long to get it dialed in. Need the weather to get a little warmer before i take it out on the water. Interested to see how it holds up for the season.

In my opinion...for the price.. you can't beat the Pflueger President. $60

Headed out last night with a buddy to a small private pond in South County. Fished from about 5:30 - Dark... Ended up landing about a dozen fish, mostly on topwater, but a few on a spinnerbait. Nothing real big at all, probably 2 lbs at the most. Definitely nice to get out and see the fish getting more active.
