I refuse to order a d**n thing from BPS. If TW or Cabela's doesn't have it, I'll get it locally. If I can't get it locally, I'll get it straight from the manufacturer. Even the BPS stores are getting bad when it comes to selection. The Sevierville store was pretty bare over the weekend. I guess my main complaint with the stores is that they're too big for their own good. It usually takes over a year for a product to hit the shelves. I don't expect to see any of the Bomber Switchback cranks on the local store's shelves before this fall. Same goes for the Quantum KVD cranking rods. Bass Pro is operating on a business model that worked 25 years ago.

Just make sure you get a reel cover for it. I can take a crappy Quantum getting beat to hell, but in the name of all that is good and holy, don't beat the sainted Japanese reels.

Burley, have you actually tried L&L or are you just skeptical of the technology? Just wondering b/c based on my experience I can't believe anyone being unhappy with the product. Used it last year, didn't see much of a difference. I find myself pondering the placebo effect when I see the bottle on my desk.

When I say long load times, I mean it may take five or more minutes for a page to load. IMO not related to avatar photos. I've had to reload many times today to even get the forum to come up. Took 10 minutes to just get this reply page up. Talked to Jimzee earlier, he said he was having problems accessing the site, much less anything else.

Entire forum has been screwy for the last week or so. Quite a few avatar photos not showing up, long load times, etc. Guess we're in for a long maintenance mode tonight.
