Went by the cheerleader ponds and the lake yesterday morning. Upper pond is fishable, lower pond is covered in ice. Lower lower pond near the road was completely clear. Too bad there aren't any fish in there. Wise Reservoir was completely iced over. I got about a foot out onto the ice at the ramp before it started to break. Only about an inch thick. This week's warm weather should have it nice and clear by the weekend.

The body of both reels should be the same size. The only difference between the two is the 3000's spool is bigger.
