carrot stick for cranks
Parabolic refers to the curve or action of the blank, not it's composition. The parabolic rods bend throughout the blank (similar to a moderate action). The CLTX721P-C is the rod you want. Rated for 3/8-3/4 oz. lure weight.

Sitting here watching Jaws
Man I'm glad I only caught the end of the 70s. With hair and clothes like that, I may have given up on women early.

What Line For A C-Rig=Braid Or Fluorocarbon?
If you fish rocks, hope you like losing weights. I tried braid when c-rigging last year. After I lost about $20 worth of tungsten in one day, I went back to flouro.

Dawn of the Dead
It was watchable, but there wasn't much of a story there. Plus it wasn't a zombie movie, so why bring it up?

Shimano Cruxis Vs. Shimano Citica
There is only approx. 8mm difference between the Citica D and E. I'll have to measure again to verify as I didn't record the results, but there isn't as much of a difference as some would lead you to believe.

TackleTour.com what do you think? Do you agree with me?
For someone who claims to know that site, you sure don't act like it. Enthusiast tackle (that Evergreen reel or Megabass rod) is where their bread is buttered. Ever visited their forum? If you aren't a tackle junkie, you're better off staying on the more pedestrian forums (like this one). I give this thread four : : : : out of a possible four : : : :

What does the drag have to do with casting? :-?

Daytona 500
Some of you are far too quick to say that the Vickers incident was intentional. Were you in the 88 car? The 88 had to get up off the apron and back into the draft. He can't help it if the 83 can't drive well enough.

Check your owners manual for towing capacities. Do not forget that pulling the boat is only half the story. You also have to stop it.

Best Rod & Line Setup For Casting Distance?
