  1. They always have ulterior motives. :-/
  2. Bid $20.00 for high bid and get the sticker. Don't make my search in vain, it took me 30 seconds to find that. That is 30 seconds of my life lost if you don't buy it. ;D Well, I was thinking of calling Shimano tomorrow and seeing what they could do for me. But, if this eBay guy's stickers are direct from Shimano, your 30 seconds won't be in vain. Thanks for the 30 seconds though...I could make many lewd comments, but I shall refrain.
  3. Well, every time I bring a new Shimano home, my wife gives me that look. Either she really loves the sexy smooth lines of Shimano reels, or she's a nymphomaniac. Either way, I'm happy.
  4. I've been occasionally checking eBay, first time I've seen anything that resembled the actual Shimano font. Hmmm....what to do, what to do. :-/
  5. Why not? I've got open space and a need to fill it. I saw a truck in Hatteras last week sporting what I want. Made me think... Plus, everyone knows chicks dig Shimano. 8-)
  6. I want a 24" long 3" tall white SHIMANO sticker for the back window in my truck. Anyone know of a source?
  7. Don't look in the mirror often, do ya? ;D
  8. I've got a few 'others' :-[ and would have had a Revo had my Wal Mart not sold out of them.
  9. Not in this lifetime! A Loomis or three will be as close as I get. ;D I'll be sure to bring only Shimano's when I'm up there... ;D
  10. That could be a good thing if used properly. I've heard entirely too many stories about phantom UPS (and FedEx) deliveries, boxes delivered to wrong addresses, etc. If the routes are saved, then either UPS or the package recipient could have some recourse if Mr. UPSman delivers to the wrong address or says that he attempted delivery at X:XX time of day and recipient was there all along. My main complaint with all shipping services (USPS, UPS, FedEx) is that they never bother to knock anymore. They just toss the stuff on the porch and drive away. Almost like they don't want to see my ugly ***.
  11. You learn something new everyday... I thought scuppernog was just a name Zoom created when they came out with the new color 2 years ago. ...lol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scuppernong_grape One of the best grapes you will ever eat. And one of the best wines you will ever drink.
  12. Many people do not know that you can turn a laptop into a very good GPS unit.
  13. Wright is no more worthy than Aramis Ramirez. Making the playoffs should have no bearing on one's MVP status. The Brewers would have been marooned in last place without Fielder.
  14. They haven't shown any weights all season long. The biggest knock on S3 IMO.
  15. IMO moreso with spinning tackle than casting tackle. That said, it is harder to throw a too-light bait on casting tackle regardless of rod action. Throwing a little harder in order to get that little bit of extra distance is dangerous when using casting tackle.
  16. Certainly looked like a Dardevle to me. Dardevle at Cabelas It was a big spoon though, prob. the 3/4 or 1 oz. model.
  17. MLB scheduling kills me. The Cubs should finish every season at home. As should Boston, St Louis, LA, etc. Going to be a tough road to hoe this week. 6 games vs. bad teams on the road. Already dropped one. If I've learned anything over the last 20 years, it is that nothing is certain when you're talking about a certain team from the north side of the Windy City.
  18. They're still on the camera, the above photo is the one from their website. Didn't really catch much, spent more time swimming and drinking champagne than fishing. Caught a few croakers, mullet, pinfish and a couple of stingrays. Wife caught a jellyfish :'(
  19. I was surprised by the format change for the final. An interesting twist to say the least. Amazing that Duckett ended up winning despite a penalty and only boating one fish in the first four periods. Jordon's spoon action was amazing. Made me want to call up Cabelas and order a box full of silver Daredevils. To catch 20 lbs. of fish in 10 minutes is mindblowing. Season seemed a little shorter than last year, can't wait for the next one. Would like to see them hit lakes other than Guntersville and KY.
  20. I spend more time on those two. The last one is presently inaccessible due to low water. I need to get my canoe up there and catch a few hawgs.
  21. Yeah, because killing animals I'm not gonna eat is a great idea. I guess you don't kill mice or rats either... :
  22. http://www.fishingunlimited.net/ 23' with a 50 Yamaha four stroke on it. Did about 25 MPH. Made for some fun jumping the wakes of the gulf stream boats coming back in. My only complaint would be the high sides and no ladder. You just couldn't get back onto the deck. Both my wife and I had a lot of trouble getting back in after a swim. I managed to climb over the outboard but she couldn't. Ended up having to drift/idle about 3/4 of a mile to shallow water and using the cooler as a step. Nice boat though, I'd like to have one with a 115 on the back and a livewell. Would be great for night tournaments.
  23. Your a man of wisdom. I dont know why, I just burst out laughing. It like a humorous life quotes for teenagers and/or college students. I've heard a saying real similar to it, but the way you put it in because you was giving an advice, that was just a great punch line. You should try fishing with me sometime Kev.... Cherokee in the channel yet? Haven't been down that way since going by on my way to Douglas almost two months ago.
  24. That's how I do it. The only thing I use my left hand for is flipping the bail and cranking the reel.
  25. I am amazed at how far digital cameras have come over the last 3-4 years. Hell, my cell phone is a better camera than my first digital. And that digital was pretty much top of the line in 99. I've been using my Fuji for almost four years, taken around 25000 photos. I've been getting the jones for a new camera, just can't decide on what I want. I really want a DSLR, but I like having something a little smaller.
