  1. Patriots are one dimensional.
  2. :-? Yep, I guess that's why they blew that 3-1 lead...
  3. d**n Rob, you are a tackle ho! ;D Remind me of a guy I used to know. Lived in SoCal, bought every new golf club that hit the market.
  4. There are a metric load of idiots on eBay.
  5. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_97234_500003001_500000000_500003000_500-3-1 Wolverine Caribou 9", Gore Tex, 800 gr. Thinsulate Ultra, 2.9 lbs. per pair. All for $70. I grabbed a pair last week, been breaking them in over the last couple of days. Very comfortable and warm, but they let your feet breathe. 65* tonight and my feet aren't sweating (polypropylene sock liners help). Almost wish I had bought another pair.
  6. That didn't take long :-X
  7. Surprised that tuna didn't have you for dinner. ;D
  8. Can't have both. With IAR, the trigger wouldn't return to center every time. I've fished them a lot through the years. Daiwa, Quantum, and Shimano. I still use a Spirex as my drop-shot reel. The lack of IAR isn't that big of a deal to me. For the money, the Spirex front drag is a fine reel. My Daiwa WE1355 was a d**n good reel. Used it from 91 until last year before retiring for newer stuff. The trigger never missed a beat. The Quantum Snapshots were decent reels. An SS2 was my do-everything reel from 97-04, used it so much I wore the thing out.
  9. The tongue on the trailer must weigh a ton!
  10. Go Injuns! If for no other reason than to laugh while everyone is sitting at home when they could be playing baseball.
  11. Won't know until you try. I'll usually hit a bank and burn it, then come back through and slow gurgle it. Produced a 4 lb. smallie that kept me from zeroing a couple of months ago.

The good thing about the lures that Porter and Matt make is that they do them in house. If they were manufactured any where else in the world, there would already be an identical knockoff on the market. Just look at the world of golf clubs. Hell, the scammers have the dupe product on the shelves before the original a lot of times.
  13. Wouldn't be able to tell without seeing the front bumper, but it looks like a 4WD to me. Or at least a PreRunner. Too high to be your standard 2WD Taco.
  14. Let's see. The auto battery might last 30 minutes, might last an hour. It won't last long with continued discharge/charge cycles. If you need emergency power to get back to the ramp, then it is worth it. Otherwise go to WalMart and get the MAXX Marine Group 29.
  15. Don't get me started. An off night in the playoffs? They'd stretch the series 3 weeks each if they could get away with it. Very surprised the division series hasn't gone to 7 games yet.
  16. VA has had phone check-in for several years. Until the last year or so, cell service at camp was very spotty. Had to stand in one spot facing a certain direction in order to get a signal. Starting this year, you can check deer and spring turkey via the Internet. I guess I need a laptop and a wireless access card.
  17. I've had the game warden skin my deer on more than one occasion... Then again, he's in my hunting club. Too bad he retired. :-/ Was nice to be able to check our deer in at camp rather than drag them to the store.
  18. I learned my lesson long ago. When I go to BPS, make sure the wife gets at least something. Yesterday, she spent most of her time in the house accessory section. I woke up to new stuff around the house this morning. Restraint? Restraint is not buying that MBR843C when you know that new Shimano would look so d**n nice on it. Oh well, it was that or using those worn out Rocky's for yet another season. The feet won out... :'(
  19. Hmmm...an orange rod that is only $150. A Core would look mighty nice on there... :-/
  20. Almost picked up three chicks at BPS yesterday... A Loomis sticker would have sealed the deal.
  21. Spent 3 hours in BPS last night, spent a good bit of time in the fishing section, left with only 4 packs of hooks. The hunting section, OTOH... :'(
  22. Fran dug his own grave with that insider newsletter BS.
  23. There is no such thing as a good forward. :-/ http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/household/gastips.asp
