Compare CXX 4 lb. test to other lines. I did last week. CXX 4 lb. is actually smaller than Trilene XL 4 lb.

If you're having trouble managing 6 lb. CXX on a spinning reel, you must be using it on a 750-sized spool. CXX is no more stiff than YoZuri Hybrid, Trilene XT or Trilene Big Game.

how did i know you were going to say this when i saw you replied... what did you hate about it? my knives are sharp enough to shave hair and it was easy to get them that way, i don't see whats to hate. although i do have complaints. like the clamp doesn't hold the knife very well, and it can scratch the blade. other than that i like it. Using the Lansky system was too much of a chore. Takes me less than a minute to put a good edge on a knife using my large whetstone. I carry a small diamond EZE Lap in my hunting pack, as well as a Lansky double sided folding diamond hone. They do a decent job of putting an edge on a knife, but I still prefer a good stone over anything. A diamond will put a sharp edge on a knife, but it is often too thin of an edge and too easily dulled. I can put a longer lasting edge on any of my knives using my 20 year old medium stone.

An electric sharpener is a great way to ruin a good knife. I was quite enamored with the Lansky system in my younger days. Finally purchased one about 10 years ago. Tried it, hated it, returned it. Give me a good Arkansas stone any day.

Could not have said it any better. Nothing but cheap knockoffs. IMO. I will say that the crankbaits are a little better. I bought a box of them last year, had a little luck with a couple of them. That said, I still think that there are much much better options on the market for an extra dollar or so. Bandit, Strike King, Bomber, Norman all exhibit better QC and better results.

Out of four H2O jerkbaits purchased last spring, one took on water out of the box, one laid on it's side. All four wouldn't suspend. I know everyone likes to compare them to Lucky Craft, but to do so is intellectually dishonest. These baits are nowhere near the quality of LC. Or even Strike King for that matter.

Why don't you send that TM to me for the winter Wayne? I'll keep it nice and safe on the front of my boat.
