In relation to this I would like to hear the equipment (minus line size or type) that everyone is using to throw the hudd. I have heard so many variations on what to use that I would love to get some opinion from outside my state.

One hook broke clean off at the jig head and I have had another hook bend after catching a 5 pounder. On top of that my skirts on these baits seem to fall off all the time so I've had to gorilla glue them to the jig head base. Maybe I was just unfortuante enough to get two seperate terrible chatterbaits from Zman but I remain skeptical.

See and that is weird because I have had terrible experiences with Zman hooks

haha I know that's why I started this thread, it's really hard to decide but I'm starting to lean towards either an *** or Croix Premier

Just looking for anyone's opinion and input regarding their favorite vibrating jig. My personal go to is D&M 3/8 oz Piranha Swimg Jig which seems to have an aweosme hook-up ratio and attention to detail for price.

I'm searching for a new7 foot rod and want some feedback from other hardcore bass fisherman. I need it to throw senkos, work topwater baits (plugs, spooks, etc) and also work crankbaits and spinnerbaits if desired. I have looked at both Falcon 7 foot rods and the St. Croix Premier Series 7 foot as well. Any opinion is welcome as are suggestions for other rod manufacturers. In addition I would like to spend between 100 and 140 on the rod. Thanks in advance for the input! Tight lines!
