  1. Yea the boat had no extra weight or water and I've only put pure gas/ethanol free gas but ill try the high octane gas. And I'm going to try and do plugs this week because it wouldn't hurt and I'm not sure when the previous owner had it tuned up. Thanks for yalls info, hopefully she'll be back to normal by Sunday
  2. I was thinking coil or spark plug too but what was throwing me off is that the motor is running just as smooth as it was a week ago. And I know when a car/truck has a bad coil the engine runs rough.
  3. 06 Tracker 175 60hp 4 stroke I bought this boat about 2 months ago and I've had it on the lake 6 or 7 times. Previous to my last trip the boat has ran great and I've not had a problem with it. But last Sunday I went after church and the boat wouldn't reach it's top speed with the throttle all the way down. The boat was running anywhere from 10 to 20 mph slower than normal with only reaching 4000 rpm's compared to normally reaching 6000 rpm's. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this prob with their motor.
  4. Looks like a solid 8 pounder. This is my wife with her pb carp.
  5. In the spring they are feeding before the spawn and in the fall their feeding for winter. Most people would agree that it's the two best times of the year to fish just because of how aggressive the fish are and not to mention its great weather to be out on the lake.

    Congrats, nice looking fish
  7. Flukes/double flukes, jerk baits, lipless crankbaits, a-rig, and top water baits all do really well in the fall. I'd stick with your summer pattern until the first frost and then start fishing creek channels. Bass will be scattered so I would use your favorite search bait to find the fish. Im just hoping we'll have a long fall this year and good luck.
  8. I'd stick to the bait that does good for you and that gives you confidence. I personally prefer the red eye shad over any other lipless crank bait out there.
  9. Skip gap hooks work great for me
  10. A bad day on the lake is better than a good at work. So as long as I make it to and from the lake safely, I've had a good day.
  11. X2 on bubblegum, victim of a bubblegum fluke
  12. Booyah and war eagle
  13. I would choose a magnum finess trick worm just because you can rig it so many ways, fish it so many ways, and its a bait that can catch fish in any season.
  14. Never like it, just like catching them
  15. I've fished 4 diff golf courses and they all had fish in them and all but one had good fish(3-6lb) in them. And I'd suggest going at night because unless your member of the course, the chances of them saying you can fish it will be very slim.
  16. I'm guess this guy is fishing in Japan. I've read a couple of articles that said Japans bass fishing pressure is like 10x the amount we have in America which forces them to fish with finesse type baits and very low pound test line which may be the reason why they suggested 4-6lb test.
  17. You can't go wrong with a senko, may not be a so called big fish bait but it will get fish in the boat.
  18. Solid 2-2.5lbs fish
  19. I would recomend a 5.4:1 gear ratio or at least that's what I prefer with deep divers. You can fish a deep divers all day with that gear ratio without feeling like you've worked all day.
  20. Bomber Fat Free Shad/Strike King 6XD/Norman DD22 are my 3 favorite deep divers
  21. I have some spots like that on my home lake and I do really good with a weightless worm or fluke. I fish the weed lines and if that's not working I try on top of the grass or Lilly's and slowly twitch it in until I hit the grass line and I normally let it sink and sit for at least 5 secs depending on water depth of the water. Most of the time they will follow till they get a clear shot at it or sometimes they will hit on top of the grass. But if you wanna go with a weight I'd recommend the mojo rig.

What's your go to bait for each season?
  23. How deep was the fish caught? 11 FT Did the lure contain rattles or have hinges? RATTLES Was the lure a natural color (brown, green) or was it an unnatural color (chartreuse, orange)? WHITE If possible, what moon phase was your PB caught during? NS
  24. 10 min drive to my home lake, and 1-3 hour drive to all the other lakes I fish.
