  2. What??? you don't even use the reel when flipping!
  3. That would be like taking your camo gun/bow in to have it cleaned and the guy said "I removed some of that dirt for you" and then notice he took a wire brush and scraped off your camo! Seriously, I hope you went back and cracked some heads... I mean seriously, that's a $60 knife the idiot ruined.
  4. Looking at your blade in the last picture it looks flat at the edge. Did he take the edge off the whole knife? Why do they let those people anywhere near the knives?
  5. The guy at BPS ground off his serrations or "nicks" as he called them.
  6. You should be able to pick up a st. croix premier for around $100 then. I would do that. Made in USA and has a 5 yr warranty.
  7. Outside of the gills is fine, be sure you do not go between any gills!

They are mostly blonde and Jewish jokes with the names replaced, but they were still funny!
  9. I hope you went back and slapped that knife down on the counter and demanded a replacement!
  10. You get less than 15mph highway? So figuring it would cost you right around $75 round trip to drive it there you would be happy paying UPS to ship it there for $70?
  11. What are you going to do when you hook a 30lb+ carp and he strips you down to backing? Just break it off and lose your spool of good line + a lure?
  12. Perfect answer!
  13. If I am using a split shot rig it is to fish very finicky fish. I use a #3/0 or #7 which is 1/32oz and 1/16oz. A #5 is 1/8oz and if you are going that high you pretty much are carolina rigging, might as well rig up with a true c-rig. For baits, its usually just a basic 7" c-tail or ribbon tail.
  14. Soak the breast fillets in a mixture of teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and red wine overnight and then grill to medium rare. They will be great. Serve with sauteed green peppers and onion. Works equally well on duck and goose. Just be sure to not take it past medium rare or it will be like you are eating a boot. As for the feathers, do not sell them or trade for goods! It is illegal in almost every state under the federal migratory bird act. You can give them away, but you cannot sell them. That goes for any part of waterfowl, not just the feathers.
  15. There are tons of flies that you can tie with their feathers. Or if you are not into that, you can dry the feathers out and use the body feathers to stuff a pillow.
  16. That is a very very pale yellow perch. I completely understand why you had trouble with it. Just wait until you hook one the size of the ones we catch ice fishing.
  17. You can get 1/4lb cajun red for less than $6 on ebay. I buy 6 or 8 for backing. The thinner line helps prevent dig-in. Another good one is shakespeare mono at walmart. 1/4lb for $1.98. I use the cajun because I use it on spinning outfits if I am in a pinch. Its always in the boat/truck for emergency spoolings.
  18. Spray foam. Be sure to only shoot a little in there at a time, don't want it to expand and crack your bait.
  19. Trolling for smallies when they are biting is FUN! Trolling for bass when they are not hitting like crazy would be extremely boring for me.
  20. The bait is designed to be ripped. Was first designed by great lakes anglers but works equally well for bass/walleye throughout the country. Let it fall and rip it up 2-3 feet, let it fall and rip it up 2-3 feet. UP not forward. It is a reaction strike bait. It is not meant to be reeled. Make sure you use the bait in its intended manner before you knock it. Reminds me of a review i saw once on a LC sammy. The guy gave it 1 star because it never dove under the surface.
  21. Worst I have found was stren super braid.
  22. Made it to 1:20. How stupid.
  23. Take it to the vet. A lot worse things you can spend $200 on if it turns out he did not eat it. If he did and you do not take him to the emergency vet it could be fatal to your dog.
  24. Doc does great work!
