  1. That right there is my dream project boat. Do it man...
  2. Upper deck style haha
  3. No. The baits that have the strongest chemical/spray paint in my whole box I also have the most success with. That said, I always use Megastrike.
  4. Slime coat is very closely linked to stress coping in fish. It's customary to add artificial slime boosters into aquariums when adding new and stressed fish, as the slime coat is key to their overall comfort. Knowing how easily stress can kill a fish, care to not mess up their slime coat is an easy way to give that fish every advantage in recovery.
  5. Best of luck with the biopsy testing! The waiting is the worst. I've had several tumors removed and I am about to go for another round soon. Fingers crossed for you SS!!
  6. This. Find a carabiner that can clip on somewhere. It takes a little longer to get it out but at least they're safe!
  7. Well yeah haha I just meant that DVT uses the same blanks you are talking about and sometimes it helps to just have an actual conversation. Not that your explanation was lacking at all because it was fantastic, but it's also easy to roll that convo into a sale insofar as "yes that sounds perfect let's do it" rather than "ah yes that sounds good I'll look into it" which can be easy to put off
  8. You would probably be best served by just calling up DVT and chatting with him about what you're looking for in a frog rod. What characteristics you want etc. You can see above that not everyone can agree on what makes a good frog rod and it really helps with your enjoyment if you can say what it is you are looking for i.e.- soft or stiff tip and how much, where do you like the backbone to kick in, how heavy the baits, how heavy the cover and what size the average lunker is in your area etc. if you don't know, he can help you figure it out. It's tough to keep that string of thought on the internet.
  9. So don't buy them then! I own several and like them. They get hit. They put fish in the boat and they work. Who cares if you have to squeeze it? Plenty of people I guess, I could care less though.
  10. I suggest a 12 gauge deer slug for that branch.
  11. Depends more on the cover or structure type, and how much time I've got to work with.
  12. I must say, It kind of cracks me up how much people complain about the lunker frogs. I just fish them until some pickerel rips the legs off and then I put some skirt legs in and POW- now it walks like a normal style frog and it looks sexy as hell. Another funny one is when people complain that they don't walk, which no frog with the real style legs does well. It's a chugging frog, meaning it is supposed to look like it's swimming in a straight line- which it does. Half the problem is the way people fish them and how long they sit out there to be honest, but it gets 'em when it's subsurface too. Also the eyelet can get twisted. Make sure it's not twisted and it likely will not roll unless you're pulling it over pads in which case schitt's gonna happen with any frog. Honestly I don't care how much anybody enjoys them though. They work for me and I have several set up different ways. If you don't like them just buy the LiveTargets and be done with it.
  13. I bought one. Darn thing broke in my hand before it ever even got wet. I will never buy another.
  14. I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you.
  15. Half fishing, half wrestling... All fun!!
  16. There have been some really good ones. Hard to even try to pick. Parliament Funkadelic front row was great The Black Crowes live outdoors is amazing I saw a Nine Inch nails show once that blew my mind which I wasn't expecting. Galactic puts on a killer show too. Sharp Harp & The Blades was probably the best ever though and they aren't even famous. Man what a show. Best blues performance I've ever seen hands down. Full brass section, keyboard and harmonica. I still think about it all the time and wish they would play again. I would go anywhere to see them rip.
  17. I didn't know Rod Glove made place mats!! Seriously, that is a dead-on match to my "desert camo" Rod Glove haha
  18. Veg with open spaces and a frog no doubt.
  19. I used to just rock a two-sided Plano box that was about the 3/4 the size of a brick when I walked the river. You'd be amazed how much stuff I got in that darn thing. You might not be amazed that one day I blew the hinges off it too haha...
  20. Bahahaha well played... But I feel like it may have been a wine cooler haha
  21. I haven't the slightest idea but I hope it's someplace virtually unknown in an area that's under appreciated and caught by a nobody. I feel like it surely helps to have a solid management program in place to grow a record if it's a pressured spot but it is certainly possible in a heavily grown remote or private lake where the conditions are right, forage is heavy and pressure is low. It's fun to think about for sure.
  22. Gama split shots and bento minnows fo sho! Not that I'm good at drop shotting but those are my tools of choice when I do it.
  23. They're not mine at all. I love football in general and enjoy watching the game after playing it for a decade. I could care less who wins but I love a good game. I feel fine about it, as literally all the science is there but what the league has done here is disgusting start to finish. I find it disappointing that so many people don't even care about the blatant misinformation campaign and subsequent railroading that has gone on. But hey, the NFL will end up paying for their actions just as the Pats are. No sense in trying to talk any kind of sense to people who aren't interested in it though. Sorry for trying to show you the rest of the story guys. Back to burning the witch at the stake I guess. Oh, and Flyfisher- just to be clear, the Colts balls were not measured and Walt Anderson (the official that measured the balls at halftime) was forced to recant on which gauge he used, as the original statement he made would have exonerated the Pats altogether. Wouldn't want to show the universal effects of the Ideal Gas Law when it doesn't support the intended narrative, now would we Buuuut as I said- nobody is trying to hear the truth, you just want to believe Tom cheated so I digress. Enjoy your weekends, gentlemen.
  24. Ah yes I misspoke, it was the completely false report of 11/12 balls being "2psi under". Literally ONE ball was 2psi under. But of course that just doesn't get people excited enough so it was exaggerated and leaked to the public falsely and in an attempt to have them judged guilty by the public long before the actual investigation. That's what I'm getting at. 99% of this investigation has been fabricated out of thin air ()
  25. I never heard of any handlers being fired but given the "11/12 balls under inflated" COMPLETELY FALSE REPORT and the "kicking ball" COMPLETELY FALSE REPORT I have to wonder if it's even been confirmed or is it just another COMPLETELY FALSE REPORT??
