  1. I'm looking for a blind to bow hunt deer out of, I own one for turkey hunting but it has green in the Camo pattern and it's too small on the inside to draw my bow. Any suggestions?
  2. It's a fiberglass John boat not a tin one like the originals and it's fairly wide and stable.
  3. I've decided that I'm going to restore one of my John Boats, it's got a small raised platform for standing at the end already and 3 benches. I was thinking of just leveling the platform with the upper edge of the boat and expanding it back about a foot. I'd then put a "lean-to" seat in the middle. Then I'd get rid of the main bench that runs the width of the boat and replace it with 2 regular leather seats. Any other ideas while I'm at it? Haha suggestions or tips on fixing it up would be greatly. Sorry no pictures yet, I'm on my phone and it says the file is too big, but just for a perspective it's about 6 ft wide and 15 ft long. Thanks!
  4. I'd flip or crank around docks mostly, that's what I'm doing this time of year.
  5. Thanks! And so I can basically use any paint I want if I use a good epoxy finish?
  6. I love the Pit Boss!!! Haha I rig it with a 3/16 ounce weight and Texas rig it and just throw it out there and burn it back to the boat pretty fast. Bass destroy it, I also flip with it or use it as a trailer.
  7. Nice! Haha what broadheads?
  8. I'd go with the quantum smoke or the Revo stx, both have yet to fail me.
  9. Sounds awesome! Any fishing in Florida is bound to be exciting
  10. I'm lookin at a FNP .45 Tactical haha it's expensive but sick, and I'm not knocking the 9mm at all I just love the .45
  11. You'd most likely need to go with a custom pour haha I've looked into it but I haven't found much.
  12. Sweet! Haha I might have to check into that.
  13. Not on reels, but definitely on lures haha I go out and buy maybe $50 in new lures every couple of days just because I want to, I have nearly every single lure on the market and I still find stuff that I want haha.
  14. In your opinion what is the better caliber for concealed carry? I've always liked the .45 ACP because if heaven forbid I ever have to shoot someone, I'd rather it only take one bullet and the FNP 45 Tactical is in .45 ACP haha that is one sick gun. But does anyone else have a different view? Thanks

The ones I've had the most success with are the Zoom flukes in pearl white, I Texas rig em with a 3/0 hook and a 1/8 ounce bullet weight and reel steady or tie 2 medium size split shot about 8 inches above the fluke and basically hop it quickly up and down.
  16. I primarily fish shallow year round, even the winter months and catch a good amount, it's all about presentation. In the summer ill start out with something slow moving like a drop shot or Shakey head or a jig and If I'm not getting bit on that ill switch over to a squarebill or medium diving Crankbait and go around docks and rocky points and if there are any pads or mats then ill throw a frog. Just a different combination for a different season.
  17. It's like a Shakey head almost, just beefier. Not a great finesse presentation but awesome for flipping around timber and docks. I will usually put a Berkley Havoc pit boss on a jig head and fish it like a football head.
  18. Where are you fishing? And what are the average size of bass in your lake? I know on a couple of the lakes and ponds I fish the bass won't even look at a 65t Live Target Frog and other where they will inhale them, it mainly depends on the size of the bass and lake and the size of the forage they are eating. Id just down size a little bit maybe try a Booyah Pad Crasher or Jr. And see what happens. Best of Luck!
  19. Thanks haha and do you think I could paint it with a paint specifically made to bond to plastic like with stencils and a brush and the add the gloss after to keep It on and then rotate it?
  20. Hello! I'm new to BR, I've seen it advertised by people on YouTube and I'd thought I'd give it a try! I mostly bass fish in the many ponds around my house and I'm 14 y/o. I'm willing to any insite that any of you guys have and am alway willing to learn more! Thanks
  21. It's used when your fishing a clearer body of water than braid will allow, braid isn't clear like Flurocarbon and can spook some skittish fish in clear water.
  22. Yea, they should be totally fine unless you hooked them in something important haha, I just cut it if I can't get it out within about a minute. You'll save more fish leaving the hook in 'me than trying to rip it out.
  23. ^^^ Im fishing from both the shore and boat and have a limited budget so when I loose a 2 dollar weight plus like a dollar hook and lure I'm not the happiest haha but I can see your coming from a professional stand point
