Favorite Casting Reel You Own.
My Curado 200E5. Like My new Curado I though too, but you just can't beat the smoothness, simplicity, and effectiveness at casting light to medium sized baits as the old Curados.

Confidence Baits...jigs Ain't On The Last.
It's amazing to me how much confidence impacts how well a lure works. It makes all the difference in the world. If jigs can catch lots of bass for me in Colorado's mediocre bass fisheries, they will work anywhere. Pitching a jig to trees/brush, rip rap, and along weedlines is one of my top tactics.

Ever Used A Split Shot Sinker To Get More Distance And Depth On A Rooster Tail?
Yep I sure do, especially when trout fishing or smallmouth fishing. Doesn't hurt the action at all, the only problem is sometimes your rig will tangle up.

Finesse Worms?
I mostly use them for split shot, mojo, and carolina rigs but also drop shotting. I'm not much of a shakyhead guy but they are great for that too. The bigger ones like a Trick Worm are great fished weightless as a floating worm.

Flat Side Crankbait Question
Norman Mad N and Thin Ns.

Strike Pro Lures
I have a couple of their flex phantom swimbaits. Great lures.

What Tactics Are You Using Right Now?
Topwaters (especially buzzbaits), squarebills, spinnerbaits, deep cranks, jigs, creatures, and plenty of other plastics.

Netbaits And Rage Crawfish
Yup. Just the way it is with lots of plastics, the softer material means better action.

Upsetting
Yeah as heavy as an 8" Hudd is I would go with a minimum of 20 pound fluoro leader too. Follows and short strikes just flat out happen with swimbaits. As others said, a slight change up could seal the deal.

New Confidence Baits For 2015
Have caught more fish dropshotting and on squarebills this year. The Norman Fat Boy in Firetiger has been hot for in a local lake with heavily stained/murky water.

Best Rods 99.99 And Under
I really do like the Veritas line. Have not tried the *** or Duckett's Ghost but have heard very good things about both,

Reel Help Please
The PQ is a fantastic, foolproof reel, and I have four of them. The Curado is better though, I have an E and an I and love both.
-
Netbaits And Rage Crawfish
I like the rage chunks/craws better but love the Pacas too.

Favorite Plastic Craw
Rage craw or Zoom Super Speed Craw.

Most Productive Technique?......(For Numbers)
I would say senko or fluke type baits, but not always. Sometimes it's spinnerbaits, creature baits, or even jigs.
-
Line To Use On A Big Crankbaits Rod
10 pound Tatsu fluoro.
-
Reel Speed For Square Bills
I prefer a 5 ratio reel.
-
Rapala Scatter Rap Crankbait
They work but no more than a regular crank imo.
-
Favorite Soft Plastic?
Hard to choose, but for versatility I would say a pit boss. For catching numbers of bass in clear or lightly stained water it's a senko.
