Strike King Space Monkey
Great lure, especially for pitchin' to targets and fishing vegetation. A 4/0 EWG and a parasite weight are all you need.

Huddleston 8" Trout Swimbait
My buddy catches 3 - 4 pound bass by the barrelf ull on a lake that generally doesn't have trout.

"regular Looking" Craw Baits
When using a "regular" craw, do you drag it on the bottom or use more of a hopping retrieve?

Help Me Trying To Walk A Spro Frog Please?
Little short twitches with slack in the line work better with me. With braid it's easy to overwork the bait and take up all the slack.Try very subtle twitches.

What Is Your Spinnerbait Setup ?
7' Medium Heavy Crankin Stick, and mono anywhere from 10 pound to 17 pound, and a slow ratio baitcast reel, either a Curado or BPS PQ.

Topwater Preferences...devils Horse Or Popper?
Popper is more versatile IMO. Prop baits are better in choppy conditions though.

Best Punch Baits?
Pit boss, rocket craw, zoom super speed craw, and baby brush hawg.

Booyah Buzz!!!! All I Can Say!
Booyahs are good, but cavitrons are WAY better. You can retrieve them much slower. And they make a better gurgling sound.

"regular Looking" Craw Baits
Does anyone here still use craw baits that look "ordinary" and don't have swirling or twirling pinchers? I'm talking about baits like the power craw, zoom critter craw, ect? Under what conditions do you use them and how do you retrieve them?

Spinning Reel Suggestion
Pflueger Presidents are as good or better than Shimano Saharas or Symetres, plus cheaper.

Senko Rod
Go with any good quality MH 7' spinning rod for smaller senkos, and a MH 7' casting rod for bigger senkos. The St. Croix Premier and Mojo series is a good one, as well as the Quantum Accurist. Can't go wrong with the BPS bionic blade or extreme series rods, either.

Budget Jig/worm Rod
The Diesel I have heard nothing but good things about. Also, BPS's Tourney special is an awesome rod that performs as well as rods costing twice as much. A 7' MH should cover most of your jig and worm needs. For pitchin' and flippin' heavy cover, go with a H model though.

Live Magic Shad
Does anybody here try fishing it weightless like a fluke?

Spinnerbaits
Forgot to add I also prefer a glass or composite rod for spinnerbaits or any tight line lure technique like crankbaits or topwaters. The BPS 7' crankin' stick is my main spinnerbait rod, in medium for 1/4 ounce spinnerbaits and medium heavy for 3/8 ounce or heavier.

Spinnerbaits
I generally go with 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ounce spinnerbaits, with the 3/8 ounce getting the most use from me. I use mostly tandem willows and double willows, with pepper hawgs and terminators being my two favorite brands. You can't go wrong with one silver and one gold blade, either. The shallower the water, and the higher up the weeds or grass grow, the lighter of a spinnerbait you want to use. I generally reel my baits pretty slow as well, with a slower ratio baitcast reel. I use anywhere from 10 - 17 pound test mono or fluoro for using spinnerbaits. My retrieve generally goes like this: Cast out, let it sink to the desired depth, and then reel in the bait at a slow to medium pace. Every 5 - 6 seconds, I will stop the spinnerbait for 1 - 2 seconds, then pop the rod tip and get it going again. If the slow rolling retrieve doesn't work, sometimes burning the bait back in quickly works, especially in clear water. As for colors, I like the golden shiner skirts, chartreuse blue white, chartreuse white, and plain white. Natural colored skirts like pumpkin are also really good, and black is the go to color for murky water.

Walking A Spro Bronzeye Frog
I use a 7' heavy action graphite rod for my frogs. Always trim about 3/4" of the legs off the frog to help it walk. It takes subtle pops of the wrist to get it to walk. Some frogs walk easier than others, too. The tru tungsten madd maxx walks very well, as does the koppers. The spro bronzeye popper and bronzeye 65 also walk better than the bronze eye jr. The spros are a bit harder to walk, though, except for the popper.

Lipless Crankbaits
I still catch lots of bass on Super Spots and Rat L Traps. The Red Eye Shad is a must have bait though as well. It has a bit better action on the drop.

Smallmouthes With Frogs?
Smallies will hit just about anything at times. I'm sure they will hit frogs, but again I don't fish frogs in smallie type areas.

How Dangerous Are Lead Weights?
Just don't put them in your mouth, and wash your hands after handling them a bunch. They really aren't that dangerous and lead bans are baseless.

I Want To Frog Fish But My Areas Have No Lillies Or Slop, No Structure Either, Just Drop Off
Try skipping them back into shady pockets under trees and brush during the middle of the day. You will get bit, often as soon as it hits the water.

P Line 100% Fluoro
It's great stuff. The memory isn't too bad and it's tough and sensitive. There is better fluoro out there, but not for the money IMO.
