  1. Thad, forgot to mention. Make sure you coat that thing with a couple generous coats of epoxy. If you just use auto clear, you will get water intrusion really easily..
  2. I dont think Hammer has any idea what he is talking about. ;D I'm not gonna argue the swimbait definition because it has become so muddled, specially with the recent bandwagoning lameness. So, the real swimbaits to me, are big baits, and so I call them big baits, lol. I know some guys that really like that bait. They have durability issues. At retail, they are a rip off as a non-collector bait. At less than $30 I think it is a decent buy. They tend to get water intrusion (wood bait) and split pretty easily. It has a very middle of the road, nothing special, nothing horrible wake bait action to it. I do not like the metal fins. Baseline, at any price, I would rather have a Slammer, at retail, I would rather have a Wake Jr. Speed, the OG Armageddon has 2 joints+ tail joint just like the BA. The only things he really changed were the profiles and the bill. The BA is thinner across the back and has a diving style lip, where the OG had a perpendicular lip. He also beefed up the tail to a thicker polycarbonate.
  3. I suck at it. That is all.

  5. Just curious where your getting your info from? Yeah, Id like to know too. I wanna go back and catch pike again.
  6. There is nothing in the world that makes my heart jump as much as a bite on a Huddleston. Nothing.
  7. Which ever dog doesnt bark at me while I'm at the ramp or fishing. I loathe misbehaving dogs in the outdoors.
  8. Paul just recently made a post with some nice stripers.
  9. Javelina is fierce. It tastes like what I imagine toe jam to taste like. We have both Russians and feral domestic pigs here. The pigs that are more boar than domestic are pretty gnarly.
  10. Thank you buddy! A big help. That would have cost me about $27!
  11. X2 on the bear. Even in sausage form it grosses me out.
  12. Both times I have had mountain lion, it was nasty. Pretty much across the board, predatory mammals are nasty eating.
  13. I dont need to melt it. I just need the shot.
  14. Raul! Did you instruct that bass to "turn your head and cough" while taking this picture?
  15. My sisters in laws raise bison. It is delicious. I prefer elk to beef any day of the week. I have never ordered from an online store though.
  16. I only skimmed it, but I didn't see any sort of evidence at all It happened.
  17. You're right, I just read somewhere it was down to a 3 year but the majority of sites say lifetime, and if you break it and it is your fault I guess it is $40 and a new rod. Is this correct? Yeah, but some dealers will do it over the counter for you. I doubt you are gonna find that on the east coast. I just had a 734C replaced that i broke trying to yank a Bobby's out of the tree above me ;D
  18. rip baits crankbaits traps senko
  19. If cleaning and checking wires caused it to stop entirely, I would think that the problem is still in the wiring somewhere, not in the solenoid or starter. Ahhh, the joy of phantom electrical problems.
  20. Castaic Platinum
  21. Dont get me wrong, there are some elements of BC that I like more than MW2. But yeah, I definitely think it is choppy. I definitely would not pay retail for it, that is for sure.
  22. I havent decided yet. The demo is really choppy.
  23. I have started using hevi shot to weight my nymphing rigs when I fly fish. I was hoping to buy an ounce or two from somebody. Sizes 4-BB preferably. I know it is a long shot, but to buy them for flyfishing, the price is ridiculous, I dont need 4lbs, and i dont want to buy a box of shells just to cut them open.
  24. 1. Strange 2. Shooting an Elk 3. Big fish in the back country
