  1. Bear Grylls is a preening clown. I love the "wild" horse that he "captured" in the sierra nevada. It was freshly shod. Les Stroud makes a much better show, no bravado, just applicable survival techniques and situations. Too bad it was cancelled.
  2. Launching will be a pain but I think the sugarloaf ramp is open. Dropshot, Darthead, Spoon. Enough 11 inch spots to last you your lifetime. Drive around till you find bait, drop a spoon, repeat.
  3. Its ok. Fishes pretty well. No huddleston for sure, but at least its big. People have been asking huddleston for a bigger one for years
  4. No he didnt answer it. But there was no way to tell that he was banned and unable to receive it. Just happened to get ahold of him on AIM.
  5. why dont you go bowling or something! ;D
  6. i sent a pm to a member that was told he was banned, and the pm went through and just sat there :-? ( didnt know he was banned when i sent it)
  7. Should our ability to PM them still exist?

    CAMPER! ;D
  9. Or using shiners jk
  10. Good call. My uncles did this once. They are cheap, so it must have been too. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
  11. For $2500 a head with airfare/gas, and ~$500 a piece for a tag, you will probably have a real hard time getting an elk hunt put together. I mistakenly read it as $7500 for yourself, which would get you the highest caliber of elk hunt.

KU unless you want Metal Gear or Gran Turismo, get the 360. Cheaper and the Xbox LIVE service apparently has much more traffic and works better than Playstation. Plus, then we could shoot each other ;D
  13. Beware, Damian, son of the Beast draws nigh ;D Congrats dude.

Im playing CoD 4 and 5 online now on xbox. 4 is much better imo. But the single player campaign for 5 is pretty good.
  15. Practically grew up there. Lived about 50 minutes away my whole life, but the creede area was definitely my outdoor stomping grounds. Aunt and Uncle run a guide service there still.
  16. The more i look at this picture the more disappointed i am with it. Need better light to bring out the depth and iridescence of the paint. Maybe tomorrow, suns gone down now.
  17. Thanks Big M, the picture doesnt show it, but there is a good deal of gold pearl on there. I didnt scale pattern the whole bait, out of laziness, just did the small mock scale tipping on the belly, i think if i do big scales on the sides it will be better.
  18. Finally got one that is at least acceptable. I dont know what it is about baby bass, but i have had a hell of a time coming up with a pattern I like. This is the best so far, although I feel it is still lacking. That is a Pointer 100 for size comparison. If saavedra doesnt like it he can cram it up his cram hole. ;D

I am NOT an Eastwood fan, but I love his character in this movie.
  20. 76 is the best imo. But it takes about 7 or 8 preference points (7 or 8 years of application) before you can draw a bull tag. I know excellent guides in that area, if you wanted a cow, which I doubt. I have a 357 inch 6X7 that came out of 76 in my garage.

"I think you are an over educated, 27 year old virgin who likes holding the hands of old ladies that are superstitious and promising them eternity" Classic.
  22. i consider a m to be more finesse than power, certainly. Using light diameter braid, i doubt you will see any gain in casting distance that is worth adding another 1.1 ounces and the bulk of a 2500. I have not noticed any casting diferences in my 2500 and 2000 size daiwas with 10lb sufix. If he was using 50lb i would probably agree.
