Cheaper alternative to Keiteich Impact?
*I use the Eco Pro 3.8 on occasion is some colors - while other colors I find better / more consistent runs with the Keitech Fat Impact . Scent is different too on the Keitech Fat Impacts (Squid scent) which no one else uses .

Favorite Football Jigs For Spotted Bass ?
Football jigs really shine best in the winter (water temps below 55 degrees F.) ... I believe downsizing the profile / size of a football jig will get you more bites than a "standard" profile / size football jig for spotted bass . That said , I only know of two (2) "finesse" football jigs available (Bass Patrol and Dirty Jigs Finesse Football Jigs in 3/8th oz.) ideal for spotted bass ... Who else subscribes to using smaller profile / size football jigs for spotted bass - what are you currently using ? *My current Favorite : Bass Patrol Football Jig (3/8th oz.) Living Rubber / Silicone combo skirt in Brown / Orange , Brown / Purple or Green Pumpkin with a Net Bait Paca Chunk 3.0" Standard size trailer threaded all the way up the jig hook shank .

Fluorocarbon Line Size for Jigs
^^This^^ ... Definitely go by the diameter (i.e. Berkley 100% FC line is larger diameter than Seaguar / Sunline (the two most popular) in certain sizes . Here is a good comparison as Team9nine was eluding to : Daiwa J - Fluoro : #20 lb. .373mm diameter Seaugar InvizX / AbrazX : #17 lb. .37mm diameter Sunline Sniper FC : #20 lb. .37 diameter *Pick one of the above and you are in great shape for C-Rig and Jig combo set up - I wouldn't go lighter than .35mm FC diameter for what you want to do .

$50 or so rod recommendation?
*I think this is about the best option at $50 (Daiwa Aird - X Heavy) with #50 lb. ~ #65 lb. braid .

Spinning Reel Drag - Clean & Lube ?
I appreciate the replies - my spinning reels are clean and well taken care of (never been dunked , dropped in mud , etc.) so I believe I am going to carefully take apart and simply re-lube with Cal's . If that doesn't do the trick - then I will explore new carbontex drag washers for my Daiwa and Abu Garcia spinning reels .

Spinning Reel Drag - Clean & Lube ?
Something I never thought about doing - but notice now that a couple of spinning reel drags are a little jerky / not smooth when pulling out line to set the drag (i.e. drag discs dried out ?) ... Any tips / techniques to making spinning reel drags happy again ? Thanks in advance !

Best Senko Rod...????
Great Senko spinning rods here - my vote for 4" to 5" Senkos with a Gammy 3/0 ~ 4/0 EWG is a Dobyns 703SF .

Best line for Ned Rigs
I've come to the conclusion the FG knot (and to a degree - even the Alberto knot) requires being born with a 3rd hand !

Techniques Where FC Main Line Is A Must ?
*Curious if you were using a 50 yard top shot of FC line with mono backing and still finding line management issues ?
-
Techniques Where FC Main Line Is A Must ?
*Perhaps MUST is a little strong - how about highly desirable or preferred ? While you can use an FC leader to braid mainline to defeat line shy bass in clear water I believe FC main line to be highly desirable / preferred for slack line sensitivity and dragging bottom contact T-Rigs and Jigs ... True or False ?
-
Pulling the trigger but which one.
*I would agree here - the Sierra 735C is better for bigger 4/0 ~ 5/0 EWG and heavier jig / flipping hooks moving fish quickly away from cover .

Techniques Where FC Main Line Is A Must ?
Interesting - good comments . Slack line sensitivity might be the area where FC line is apt to shine the best ?

New Main Line You Want To Try Next ?
I certainly can understand staying with what works for you . Part of the fishing fun is exploring what may be new with lines as possibly it may be better than what you are currently using . That said , doubtful Tatsu or Smackdown will be topped anytime soon (lol !) ... In the mid - tier lines is where you will find more of the new products coming out . *Berkley just released a Fluoro infused co-polymer line called : "Fluoroshield" ... Sounds like the same principle as P-Line's : "Fluoroclear" ?

New Main Line You Want To Try Next ?
Curious what the next new main line you want to try is ? ... For me - the newer Sufix Advance Mono or FC lines.
