  1. And........?

Crust on, wheat bread, Skippy smooth PB, Strawberry jam.....it IS the only way to eat a PBJ!
  3. That's a tough call. I would definitely NOT get divorced if my wife didn't like me fishing. But as a husband I would not tolerate her lazy behaviors. There have to be compromises and it sounds to me like she needs to get a job and start being productive to society. It is also important to encourage her to pursue her passions as well. If your spouse does not support you then it will be tough sledding.
  4. This is going to be fun!! Looks like a good group of guys!
  5. If you still have open slots send one my way. I'll join your group.
  6. Ice fishing all weekend! Willow slough on Sunday! Haha

You should post up how much you are looking to spend. That will narrow the field a bit.
  8. I just faced a similar dilemma and opted to go with the punching setup. I don't see a lot of guys punching where I fish so I was of the mindset that I can target those fish that might be pressured less. I went with the Dobyns Coalition 735C to pair up with my Chronarch E. I'm excited to do a lot of jig fishing this year! My .02
  9. Seconded! I use watermelon more than any other color.
  10. that's strange. You can typically catch crappie using minnows under a bobber. Or I like to fish them on small jig heads tips with Lake Fork baby shad. I have also caught large crappie on spinnerbaits while fishing for bass. I usually look for them where there is vegetation.

    Exactly.
  12. Welcome! Also from NW Indiana. If you ever want company fishing smallies on the big lake let me know!
  13. Snook....Indeed the USA is (in my opinion) better than every other option out there. It would be impossible to respond to your reply without getting political, but I can safely say that some people's definition of "Freedom" differ from other's. And for the record... I like Florida! Would not mind living there someday! Now New York.....don't even care to visit!
  14. Great tips! I will definitely have to scope out some of those plugins.
  15. Well...Some states are better than others. Texas, Arizona, Tennessee, Indiana come to mind. Florida is up there too. Basically any state that is not run by idiots. Although if the government keeps running on the same track the states will be handcuffed anyway. These next 3 years are going to be tough.
  16. Indeed....need to relocate to "free America" or what's left of it!
  17. I'm in both the bass master and FLW fantasy teams. We should start a bassresource.com group!
  18. You have pm! J/k but I have been watching some 201e's on eBay and they are going for 190ish. Seems crazy. I picked up a Chronarch 201e for 140 shipped NIB which I thought was fair.
  19. And all I would have said to that gentleman is....hunting rifles are just like sniper rifles....they can kill people to if given to the wrong individual. It would be wise for him to just carry on about his business and keep his nose out of yours. DRIVE ON!
  20. G23 is a great gun. The shield if you have not handled one is going to be hit or miss with you on comfort and trigger pull. I personally do not like the Smith triggers at all but I have friends who love the Smith and hate the glock so your experience may vary.
  21. Flutter spoon in any shad type color! Watch the drop because that's when they hit.

I have a few red hooks that I use for bluegills. I picked them up because they were on sale. I catch just as mentioned with them as I do with the gold and silver aberdeens.
  23. I am a Glock shooter primarily. I have 5 of them after all. But I will say that my Sig MK25 is probably my favorite gun to shoot.
  24. Nail knot with bobber stopper works great! They are cheap cheap cheap. Or if you want to get fancy buy yourself some Florida rig bullets. Basically the same thing as a bullet weight with the screw in post. Works great.
