  3. I purchased a 7' 8 mojo bass glass rod med/heavy mod action today for jigging but I read the reviews and people are using it for cranking? Would it be better for me to exchange it for a better tod for jigging or do you think it would be OK for jigging? Thanks

  5. I have decided that i am going to purchase 3 St. Croix Rage Rods for my Jigs / Crankbaits / Spinnerbaits + the Daiwa Tatula to match up with my Tatula reel 1) Shimano CI4 - i hear nothing but greatness about this reel and i'm going to own it 2) Pflueger Patriarch - my first spinning reel was the Pflueger President and it was a beautiful piece and i want to give Pflueger a chance 3) ???? i have $200 - $250 available - help? now with my 4 Rod / Reel combos which Reel should be for my Jigging / Crankbaits / Spinnerbaits / Top waters? and what kind of line (i really don't want to go with Braid) - i know i'm putting Mono on the top water and the rest will be fluoro your input would be appreciated. and will be mostly fishing under 20' deep waters thanks!

Thanks guys for the info I haven't read enough on these boards and didn't know the importance of the rods I'm set on spending more on the reels so I'll have to make more grocery runs to get my bps cards for the rods I always pick up a $20 card at the grocery store and have over $600 now and should have another $300 + by the time the snow melts and warm weather This is my trick to keep my wife from getting mad about spending a lot on fishing gear
