My Old Dog New Tricks Thoughts On The Features In Todays Equipment
Can you buy any of those reels today? No. I'm definitely NOT a shimano fan! I haven't liked any shimanos since the chronarch d's,curado d's and Calais. Wasn't impressed at all with the e series reels.

My Old Dog New Tricks Thoughts On The Features In Todays Equipment
I agree with the reels part. I would take my zillions, curado D's, and Calais over any casting reels available today. I still prefer my ss1300s over most spinning reels.

How Many Rods Do You Carry When On The Bank?
One. And an extra 2 piece rod hidden out of sight in my vehicle. If I left a few rods in plain sight in my vehicle at most of the places I fish they would be gone.

Your Top Producers For Numbers
For numbers it would have to be a zoom finesse worm in green pumkin. For numbers of big fish nothing comes close to a jig and pig. I've caught more big smallmouth and largemouth in my life on jigs than all other baits combined.

Where To Sell?
I agree with you that ebay usually does get you the best price. And I always start my auctions at 99 cents no reserve and free shipping. I do sell a lot of stuff on ebay and make decent money. Having said all that I still feel like ebay fees are a total rip off! And they really do nothing at all to help sellers. If someone buys an item from you and decides for any reason they want their money back you're screwed. It doesn't matter if you say no refunds or returns. Ebay will give the buyer their money back no questions asked, and then they will get the money from you one way or another.

Where To Sell?
They are crooks! They double dip out of your money. When you sell an item the money goes into your paypal account and PayPal takes a percentage of that money for transferring it. THEN you have to pay ebay their fees AFTER PayPal (which ebay owns) has taken a percentage of that money. And now they have even decided to take a percentage of the shipping costs!!! So if you sell something with a 10 dollar shipping charge ebay takes a dollar of it! It's absolutely ridiculous! If you sell an item for 100 dollars you only end up with around 85 dollars by the time they get done. Oh and good luck trying to get ANY help from eBay if you are a seller. You will end up getting screwed in the end, Ebay always sides with the buyers 100%. Sorry for the rant.

Lucky Craft Pointer 100 Replacement Hooks And Split Rings?
Thanks guys. Any suggestions on which size owner split ring to use. I don't want to order a bunch of split rings that are too heavy and make these baits sink. I don't really have all my extra split rings labeled as to what size they are. If I did I would just do some experimenting to see which size works best.

Where Did All Of The Short Casting Rods Go?
St.croix makes a 6 medium triumph casting rod that's decent for 90 bucks. The cork handle version not the crappy orange one. They also make the premier in 6 foot medium and medium heavy. Although I like the few triumph rods I have better than my premiers. I think the unfinished blank gives it a better overall feel.

Lucky Craft Pointer 100 Replacement Hooks And Split Rings?
I bought a group twenty pointer 100s cheap. Most of them have bad or broken hooks. Some of them are missing the hooks and split rings. What hooks and split rings do you guys use on pointer 100s to keep them suspending. I think I've replaced some of the hooks on my pointers before with vmc #5 hooks but I can't remember which model they were. Thanks.
