I also did the pvc box method. Then I bought a old school gym cinch bag with the white string. Put it around the box and zip-tied pool noddles to the top. I just drop the fish right down in. Don't get much drag either I am using it in a float tube though that might have something to do with it. Tubes move slower than kayaks.

A lost Oklahoman needs your help! I'm taking a trip to the great state of Montana this coming week, and I need some advice on fishing. Being a bass fisherman I would like to know if I could catch bass in Montana and have good luck, or should I just throw that idea out the window and fish for trout or other species. We will be spending 3 days in West Yellowstone and the rest of our trip in a small town right outside of Billings. Any information is good information.

It's their castaway pro sport fished this morning with it. I caught two combos and the lews reel hauled them in like they were nothing. The castaway rod didn't miss a beat when setting the hook with a small punching rig.

Today I bought a lews tournament laser mg. I fished it for about an hour tonight and was really impressed. Such a smooth reel right out of the box and it casts a mile. Being stuff on the shore casting distance is huge for me. I also purchased a castaway 7'0 MH. I have never really researched castaway or even heard much about them, but when at the local tackle store I loved this rod. I really hope these two items stay consistent in their performance. Ps: I've already sent money for 36 combos for Tackle the Storm foundation. I'm having more fun fishing this year than any before.

I would say people not paying attention. If one of my co-workers would just slow down and listen us around him wouldn't have to work x2 as hard. Also people in my classes if you would get off your phone or laptop an PAY ATTENTION. You wouldn't ask the professor a question about something they just went over, and everyone in the class wouldn't hate you. I'm not paying to be mislead by your ignorance. I want knowledge here. Rant done.

Hey anglers I have recently joined a mini boat and tube league to compete this season. I was wondering if you guys had any advice on how to keep the fish alive until weigh-in. The only thing I can see is tying a stringer to my tube?

I'd rather eat the south end of a north facing horse than eat liver again.

I love all the techniques you can catch bass on. Where other species have successful but limited ways to catch them. I also find it interesting that I can throw a bait for 3 hours and not get bites, but I throw in a different bait and get bit in 5 casts.

My advice is to adjust your reel every time you change a bait. Search bassresource on YouTube they have a great video how to set up a baitcaster.

I could eat a variation of grilled chicken every night. And to slonez sometimes you gotta drink your dinner man.

I am looking into buying more fishing gear and I see everywhere are these micro rods. I've seen them before but do not know their benefit. Any answers to my question would be helpful, seeing as how I know nothing about them.
