  1. Nice, I'm still in the process of redoing the trailer I bought. Can't wait to use it.
  2. Do I need to format it to work on the Humminbird Helix 5 SI? Wayne P. Can maybe answer this for me.
  3. Yep, I even wear one to work when it's cold out. Yes, and I look like Alex from The Division... You like rocking the Freddy from Scooby-Doo look... I can dig it, but I prefer the Bass Ninja look myself.
  4. Not to hijack or anything, but how long should the cord be?
  5. My Explorer is much higher, and I don't have J bars. I use the factory roof rack with the grey foam blocks. Plus I would mount it from the rear... So to speak. I had it to a science, but it sucked after a long day of fishing.
  6. Same here, way too much stuff.
  7. Unless you have an Xploder, it's a pain getting that thing on the roof. It isn't the weight that's the problem it's the wheel in the keel that is the issue. Always wants to roll away from you when it's angled up. I fixed that problem with a trailer. That wheel is worth it though, so much easier to move around.
  8. Your gonna love that thing, wish mine came with the electronics pod. Remember your not gonna win any races, but you're @$$ will feel like it did. Like the Uni Bar Dashboard, Uni accessory mounts, Humminbird Helix SI etc...
  9. I think Scotty is compatible with the Ascend line, but I think any will work. I don't think it's as brand specific as Feelfree's tracks.
  10. This is the info I've gathered from Big O and Mike at Seibert Outdoors on this forum. The ribs are reversed, cuped forward. The tail has the Rage Tail lip. You get one extra bait more in each size per pack than what Keitech offers. Also the price point will be about the same or even somewhat cheaper.
  11. I just bought a used 12' Load-Rite galvanized PWC trailer. It just needs some minor adjustment.
  12. You don't use your trailer anymore?
  13. Sorry for the late reply, They stay on. There is a groove on 1 side that wraps around the cross bars. I slide a Lure 11.5 yak on those things without any proplem of them coming off.
  14. I bought the grey foam blocks that fit nicely on my Xploder's factory roof rack cross bars and two cam straps on the front and rear, and that's that. A total of 30 bucks. I am gonna be looking for a trailer though, the Lure 11.5 is kind of a pain to load on that high roof. *UPDATE* Now I have this.
  15. What will the price be for these things?
  16. Godzirra!
  17. What are the price points? Are they gonna be cheaper than Kietech?
  18. ⬆⬆⬆ This, or check out the Humminbird web site, they explain the same thing but with a picture reference
  19. Water was still cold, so had to use finesse baits. Caught the small guy on a Ned rig around a beaver lodge, and caught the big guy on a Siebert Finesse jig and Rage Chunk by a feeder creek. My buddy caught this Smally off that same feeder creek. On the bank across from where we caught those 2 fish, we noticed a large small mouth cruising around with juvenile large mouth which I found kind of strange, always thought large mouth and small mouth don't really hang together. The small mouth and large mouth we caught actually weren't caught far from each other. I guess maybe because it isn't really that large of a lake they just do.
  20. I bought the Jewel Hound Dog
  21. You should be ok, a buddy of mine lives in Florida and he uses his Redfish and Spec trout tackle for large mouth with no problem. For plastic frogs though I would use the Extra wide gap hook. They also make wide gap straight shank or offset hooks also.
  22. I was looking at these at the Fishing and Outdooor Expo the other day, Nice looking bait. What are you fishing it on? H or EH, and what taper MF or F
  23. I have the Speed Spool LFS series, Tournament MG, 2 BB1s, and just recieved the Super Duty which I'm gonna use for punching mats and inshore fishing. They all have Thier place, and they all work flawlessly.
  24. This is my Bait Monkey, and Electronics Gorilla haul for the new season. It's not alot of stuff but it did cost alot. Had to cut back on the bar hopping to be able to pay for this. The Penn Fierce II and the Penn Prevail will be for my new endevour, Surf fishing. The Lew's is Super Duty for punching mats, and some Inshore fishing. The Tuff Baits at the bottom right are made localy and the used a repurposed Slim Jim wrapping machine to package them. Plus they were cheap cause I got them at the Fishing and Outdoors Expo this past weekend.
