Tell you the truth I use both, and they work. Concerning Mega Strike and the cost, it's definitely worth it. Follow the instructions, a little dab will do ya.

Caught this 2 1/2 # guy on a Jig with a Rage Chunk on my last cast this evening around 8pm. First one on a jig for me.

Manns minus 1s, have been pretty successful along the banks in the shallows, and ticking the tops of weeds. Baby Bass ;-) Don't hear allot about them.

I have no shad up where I'm at, wonder if they make bluegill color, our perch.

Man, if I catch a 6lbr I'll probably be as giddy as a little school girl.

Soon that will be the only rod you'll bring.

Could be turtles, happened to me yesterday. Was casting under some overhanging trees felt a jerk set the hook and I came back with nothing. Took my RT Anaconda, glass bead, and bullet weight right off. Must likely a snapper.

I've seen that happen many times, by the time your finger even touches the crank to reel in the slack it's too late.

I actually loosen the drag all the way back when I'm done fishing, just forgot to set it back when I started fishing.

Doing a little fishing right now, but taking a food break. Started using my Manns -1 had a good hook up started reeling and reeling my drag starts slipping I see the fish at least an 3 pounder, and I lose it. Realized my drag was way loose so the hooks obviously didn't dig in. To make it worse the same fish jumps out of the water in front of me, and shoot me the bird. Anybody make a stupid mistake like that.

I used it this past Sunday at a resi on a dam with a rocky embankment. Tell you what it held up pretty good, and caught a 2 1/2 lbr with it. I just made sure to check for abrasions every few casts.

Check out the Fenwick Eagle MF. It's 60 bucks at Dicks. I have it in an 6'6" with a Lews SS1S 5:4:1 spooled with 12# mono. Works nice with the small and medium shallow cranks.

You don't have any access to ponds or lakes with any kind of matted weeds or Lily pads? If you do use a top water frog. That's what gets me thru these dog days of summer. I don't catch allot, but I'm catching some nice ones.
