  1. I can do that... In my dreams! Awesome video one of my favorites
  2. If you need a club hit me up Maine bass. I will end up doing a few so far im set on Damariscotta in April. Other than that Im not sure yet. Just whatever works i guess. looking at the schedule some im looking at are: Sabbatus on 6/18 Little sebago 8/17 Tacoma night bite 8/15 maybe the northern bass supply on sebago.
  3. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh just trout and salmon like Mainebass said.
  4. Gotta love low pressure lakes. There have been more than a few days where one can put a limit of 2.5 pound smallies in the boat in 15 minutes. An average day is about 8+ fish. But there are no bass in Maine, so no one plan a vacation
  5. I like the colors better than a regular largemouth
  6. I regularly fish East winds in Maine. It makes no noticeable difference to me. My first thought when I heard this that it's made for the south or central US... Just like just about everything in bass fishing
  7. Are you sure the fish that are active arnt tilapia or carp? When I lived out west I had 0 luck if the carp or tilapia were really active. More so the tilapia because they will kill bass they are so aggressive. Maybe if you posted what lake or a nearby address we could look and try to give you some tips on where to start.
  8. As far as fish goes it would have to be the gar i caught. this was caught in Arizona. A few states away from any native Gar population.
  9. Nice Jack they are easily my favorite saltwater fish to catch.
  10. So how about Seminole? What are your predictions? I really don't know what to expect haven't done much bass fishing in way southern Georgia
  11. This. ( taken by a member of my club not myself) and the fact that every day is never the same.
  12. 1.Lobina Rico 2.Morning Dawn Robo worm (drop shot) 3.Green pumpkin jig w/paca craw trailer 4.War eagle spinnerbait White 5.Fluke
  13. So sick of winter that my room is clean. All my gear is completely organized (which for me is incredible). There are green streaks from braid in the snow from me casting frogs in the yard...At this rate I'm confident i will not be able to fish my first tournament of the year on 4/26. I need another trip to Florida... HHH?
  14. Had twin 3.7 smallies go on me in the same tournament. If one would have made it I would have been $200 richer for big smallie of the year... Guess that happens when your boater decides to smallie fish in deep water then frog fish in July. They went from 70 degree water to 80 and it was too much
  15. I would call if you havent left yet.. I tried to rent there last week and they were booked for a while. I ended up using http://www.lakeoboatrentals.com/boatratesrequirements.html and the boat was just what I needed. no gps on their older humminbirds but i used navionics on my phone. They are not as known so its a good backup. Go slay some hogs that I couldn't find!
  16. Seems light but if it works it works. I use a 7' carrot stick with a curado with 20lb floro or 60lb braid
  17. Be sure to pack them well... Just last week I had a plano tube and somehow the top came off during travel and my frog rod slid out just enough for the first 6 inches to be broken off. What saved me from all my rods being broken was packing all my fishing shirts in with the rods so they couldn't all slide out. Also don't be afraid to pad your tackle boxes i had one that the bottom was blown out because of them throwing the bags. Never again Jetblue. Where are you renting the boat?
  18. Quick question not meant to high jack the thread but what type are allowed in most tournaments? Ive attempted a google search but had no relevant results. As to them counting if they are not being worn, it is the opposite in Maine so be sure to check your local regulations.
  19. Just be glad that it was an option to watch online. No one made you watch it for three days.
  20. One thing to remember is that its not Maine where a bare 3/0 can catch fish at times. I just got back from a Florida trip and I didn't have a sniff at any topwater
  21. I'm currently sitting in 5th... If only I didn't lose two people in the cut
