I bought a 7 foot Abu Garcia rod from wal-mart and about 7 inches of the tip broke off but I can't find the Reciept. I was wondering is there anything I could do to get it replaced? Or am I guessing I'm SOL. im pretty sure I'm SOL but I thought someone else might have an idea what I could do.

Like others said your probably better off getting the curado for $99, or the pro qualifier for $65 or spend an extra $15 and get the Johnny Morris for $115 on the reel trade in. A buddy of mine has the orra and he dosnt like it. He actually prefers his silver max 2 over it.

I have the revo s and its a great reel and casts a mile but always like buying bps products because if something ever happens to it within 12 months then I just take it back and exchange it for a new one no questions asked.

I wonder if this new curado I will be worth the extra $80 over the curado that will be selling for $99 at bps?

I got my personal best on a reaction innovations beaver pitching it right under a dock. My favorite color is the bloody Mary. They are also pretty durable I can use one bait for 5-6 fish

I see that your a curry fan so if you live in the bay area the Manteca bass pro shop shouldn't be more than an hour and a half away.

I throw a weightless super fluke and watch the line for the bite. It looks like a dying baitfish for an easy meal.

Do people fish this bait in waters that don't hold trout? Im interested but where I fish there aren't trout for the bass to feed on. Thanks.

The other day I was throwing a red eye shad when a nice size 5lb+ lmb hit it. I set the hook and just kept pressure on the line then the fish jumped out of the water and I shook the hook off. Both my friend and I saw it happen and he immediately starts telling me that I'm a rookie (which i am, lol) and I don't know how to catch fish basically telling me that its my fault that I let the fish jump and I should of kept it from leaving the water. My question is, is it possible to keep the fish from jumping out of the water and shaking the hook? I was pretty sure the angler has no control if the fish jumps out of the water or not but he was convinced it was my fault. Thanks

Nice catch, it's a great feeling getting that first fish on your line after being skunked. Imo Sometimes A 3lber can feel more rewarding than catching 6lber in a feeding frenzy

I do really well with rat-l-traps and jerk baits, as for top water you can't go wrong with a bone colored heddon spook

X2 on this, I have 3 of these rods and they're great for me. Right niw they're on sale for $39.99 can't beat that price for this rod. The employees at bps tell me that the brawler is basically an ugly stick. Not sure how true it is but I've heard it from a few of them.

I wish I could get one for $59.99 but they only have right hand retrieve. I also wish I had a rh retrieve so I could jump on all the great deals

I'm pretty new to fishing so what does it mean to have mono backing? My guess is Spool the reel halfway with mono then the other half with braid? Do you tie on the braid to the mono?

Your not alone, I'm having the same issue. I haven't been able to catch a bass in a couple months either besides a small one i caught on a jerkbait that seemed like it was dead, when I pulled him up to the surface it just layed over on its side and didn't really move. The water temp is in the low to mid 40's. Even the striper bite has completely disappeared about 3 weeks ago. Before this cold weather came in (low 29* high 52*) the striper bite was amazing. Even though I'm having trouble catching 1 fish per trip I still go out there almost everyday hoping things will change.

Is bass lake located near graeagle?

I also got a go pro hero 3. But I'm hesitant to open it after reading all the horrifying 1 star reviews on amazon.

My friend lives on #8 the san joaqin delta and I have my boat docked in his backyard I fish it almost everyday after work.
