  1. Chatterbaits and chatterbaits
  2. Man not here too. I come to bass resource to get away from crap like this
  3. I'm gonna say A+. I caught a 5 1/2 pounder then like a month later I caught my personal best that was just shy of 7 pounds. Also caught a handful of 3 and 4 pounders. So all in all last year was a great year and huge leap from the year I had before that.
  4. It's definitely more of a moderate-fast than a moderate
  5. I wouldn't use it for jigs or trigs. The tip is a little too moderate for those techniques.
  6. I have the 7'2"mhr and use it for swim jigs, bladed jigs(chatterbaits), and spinnerbaits. I think it's a great rod with enough backbone to drive the hook home but a delayed tip so you don't pull the bait away from the fish.
  7. I use the same set up for each technique. Daiwa tatula 7'2" mh 'regular' taper is what they call it. Rod has plenty of backbone to drive the hook home but a delayed tip to not rip the bait away from the fish. Reel is a daiwa tatula 6:3:1 ratio and I use 15# fluorocarbon
  8. I think I'm sold. Probably gonna order the 7'm spinning rod
  9. I should state that the rod has a fast tip.
  10. I noticed on TW that they have the old version crucial spinning rod on sale for like $80. I'm kind of in the market for a new shakey head rod. The one they have is a 6'10"m. I'm just wondering if these are good rods and if that model would be good for shakey heads.
  11. I had a couple of the old jadewoods and a couple koverts and they were just ok. After using them I don't really see what the hype is all about. Needless say I've switched to another brand but I did end up keeping the jadewood shakeyhead spinning rod.
  12. not to hijack the thread but if your using your cranking rod for lipless cranks as well would it be better to move up to 15# fluoro if that's your line of choice or is 12# sufficient?
  13. I like Sunline FX2 but power pro is good line too.
  14. D&M piranhas
  15. So you think the tip is too stiff for shakyheads?
  16. I'm looking at getting a tatula spinning rod. Does anyone have any experience with one? I have three of the casting rods and love them but can't find much about the spinning rods. Looking at getting the 7'm for shakey heads mostly.
  17. Sunline super natural is great line
  18. I wasn't necessarily referring to you. I was just saying it happens.
  19. Not like it's never happened before. It's a common tactic on tackle warehouse reviews. You have to take every review with a grain of salt because people make fake accounts bashing products from competing companies then recommend a rod or reel from another company.
  20. Just went and checked the three tatulas that I used pretty heavily last year, 2 spooled with 15# fluoro and one spooled with 60# braid and ZERO signs of grooving.
  21. Probably one of the new tatula glass crankbait rods.
  22. I'm going to be the odd one out in this thread but i like sunline FX2
  23. ^thats the froggin' set up i have and i absolutely love it
