  1. I have been fishing different circuits as a co-angler for 5 or 6 years now. The main thing is to respect the boater and his boat. You do this and he will respect you. Keep things clean in your area. Do have your gear scattered out. Most of the time, the boater will have a compartment behind your seat open for you to use to stow any unnecessary gear. The main thing is to have fun and fish hard.
  2. Ditto. I am a Denali Guy. I have the Noirwood 843 and 844 rods and love them. I have not used the spinning rod but if it is anything like the bait casting rods, it will be great. Very Sensitive and lots of backbone.
  3. Denali Kovert 7'6" Cranking Rod or the Denali Jadewood.
  4. I have had a variety of rods for the past few years, Garcia, Duckett, Carrot Stix, Allstar, Skeet Reese, and the list goes on and on. I recently joined the Denali Pro-staff and was required to only carry 4 of their rods. I felt that if I was going to represent them, I needed to have as much knowledge as possible. I sold all my rods and bought all Denali Rods. I now have 10 of them. Best thing I ever did.
  5. 1/4 or 3/8 oz spinnerbait, white or chartreuse or combination, works well from the bank area.
  6. I have them on every reel that I own. I love them. Cannot use a reel without them.
  7. Denali Jadewood Shakey Head or Drop Shot Rod. $100.00 www.Denalirods.com
  8. Either one of those rods would make good frog rods. I have 10 different Denali Rods from all the different options and I plan to experiment with different ones when it gets closer to "frog" season.
  9. I am on the pro-staff of an online company and so far, they have treated me well. If interested, PM me and I can get the information to you.
  10. Don't think you will be disappointed.
  11. You might even check out the Rayovac Series. It will be a good place to start also. Even fishing the BFL would give plenty of opportunities.
  12. Gotta go with the Jadewood. Like AMAC, I am on their prostaff. I had a carrot Stix and loved it. But since changing to Denali Rods, I have no regrets. I sold everything I had for nearly nothing to change to Denali.
  13. You might want to check out the Denali Jadewood Dropshot spinning rod. It is a great rod and a great price at $100. Go to www.Denalirods.com and look at their products.
  14. Message me about this topic.

I recently signed with an online tackle company that is looking for other Prostaff members. If you are interested, PM me or email me for the information. kc5ttc@gmail.com
  16. I would like to play. I am signed up already. Just send me the information.
  17. I have 9 of the various Denali Rods. I recently joined the Denali Prostaff team because of the great rods that they sell. I have the Rosewood spinnerbait rod as one in my arsenal and absolutely love it. I think that once you use the Denalis, you will want more. I feel they are the most sensitive rods that I have used in a long time. Just my 2 cents.
  18. Take a look at the Denali Signature Series Murphy Jerkbait rod. It is a little more than $100 but the extra is well worth it. I have one and absolutely love it. www.denalirods.com
  19. I recently bought a Denali Jadewood 7'11" XH Flipping rod to throw the A-rig. Paired it with Garcia Pro Max reel and 50# Sufix 832 Braid. Think it is going to be a good set up.
  20. I like the Zoom Ultravibe Speed Craws. I try to match the craw with the Jig. But you can be creative. There are a lot of options on colors.
  21. I fish as a co-angler and have the magnum. I can put up to 10 boxes in it. Sometimes, depending on what I have in it, it can get pretty cumbersome. If you plan to carry back and forth, the super magnum may be too heavy.
  22. I have the Kovert 7'6" Cranking Rod. So far, it has met all my expectations. I researched Denali a good bit before getting on their pro-staff. They have a great reputation and service. I don't believe you can go wrong with the Kovert. Just my opinion.
  23. It might be. Just saying. But, if you can't have fun with something, don't do it.
  24. Boy, this thread went down hill in a hurry!!!!!!
