  1. Any good area's that have some good bass fishing that i could try this weekend?
  2. Fishing in the morning and afternoon, then it's game time.
  3. mine is the Junebug color, seems like i'm always going back to that color. And yes, you gotta wait a second or two for the fish to take it. One thing that i do while fishing this bait is hold the rod tip at 11 o'clock, and when the fish blows up on it , drop the tip to around 8 and set the hook. works for me. also wide gap hook.
  4. Zoom Horny Toad for me, June bug seems to be the go to bait when nothing else is working.
  5. gotta love the freshwater fishing here in SW Florida, my PB LMB here on Christmas Eve. 9# 14oz.
  6. Here are a few of the mods i made on my rig
  7. canal off Santa Barbara and Trafalgar, NW Cape
  8. good going basshead1, gotta like the slim in the bass raiders. caught a dandy christmas eve. 9#14oz.
  9. thanks for the replies guys, another question i have fishing sea walls, should i fish parallel to it , or throw straight at it ?
  10. here is my question: If let say i catch a good bass along a certain sea wall, and if i come back to that spot, should i try and catch that fish again, or was this a one time deal? also another question is: should i try and catch more fish there(bass), or will there be just one. from my experience(which isn't alot) that is the only fish that i'm catching there.
  11. The reason i'm asking is that my friend and I have talked about the possibility of holding a small bass tournament for us guys that have little pond jumpers, and can't compete with the big boys and there big motors. It would be like a 5 hr tourney, trolling motor only, somewhere here in the Cape Coral area. Don't have any real details yet, but just trying to see who might be interested in something like this.
  12. I personally have not fished Babcock/webb, but my fishing partner has many times. and usually does well. Just to give you and idea of the fish he catches, since Jan1, he has caught over 1500 bass this year alone, and that is no joke.
  13. Hey Bomber7, good luck on chasing those whitetails. But i will have to say that it is my favorite thing to do is bow hunt whitetails. And had a good season up in Indiana. Just in the last year have i got back into fishing for the big ole bass, considering the whitetail hunting here in south Florida isn't worth a crap.
  14. wow, glad i have come across this site. lots of cool mods done to these boats. I have done a couple to mine. 1. drain plug...didn't like it filling up with water when it rains. and it rains alot here in florida in the summer 2. rod hold downs... keeps em nice a secure on the move 3. handles for the sides of the boat....makes it easier to move when you have two people, not having to walk backwards 4. rudder....keeps her nice and straight 5. big foot switch... almost hands free now...turn it to one speed and step on the button This is why i love this little boat.
