Reins Ax Claw, 3/8 oz blade bait and a drop shot.

7/16 and 9/16 have been my go to sizes. I rarely hang up a bait but they usually get discarded because of a bent or broken hook. Different hook options other than an EWG would be nice as well.

Ft. Pat gets quite alot of kayaking traffic. It has some quality bass but they can be hard to pattern. A great place to go is the John Sevier detention reservoir. Lots of weeds and some giants.

The intake for the live well is below the water line which it should be. You can close the valve for the live well and water shouldn't get in unless the valve leaks. One tried and true way to keep water out is to get a piece of pic pipe that tightly fits the drain hole. Cut it about 2 inches short of hitting the lid.

4 lb fluorocarbon and crappie tubes in natural colors work for both species. Rooster tails with a single hook are always a good choice.

Kentucky Lake, hands down Kentucky Lake. Spring fishing is phenomenal, numbers and good weights are common and you have 180+ miles of water. Plus you have Barkeley next door if you want something different.

Wiggle wart will be stamped on the bottom of the bill for pre-rapala. Also the seam on the older ones is rough.

The density of the plastic on pre-rapala warts is different than newer versions. The rattles in pre-rapala were also lead. Older pre-rapala will have wiggle wart stamped under the bill but be careful folks are forging the stamp. If the stamp looks clean and easily read most likely a fraud.

I am all smallmouth all the time. Reins Ax Claw for clear water, Yum Craw Papi for stained water. As for flipping/punching, attrax predator craw. I have used every craw ever made and have found these to be the absolute best for brown bass.
