  1. Welcome to the forum. I have a sister that lives in Boise. Spent a month out there in 2012 fishing up in Stanley. Beautiful country!
  2. Great video. Always good to review info you may already have had. At my age it is starting to be easier to forget stuff. LOL
  3. I am on my second Tracker and for the most part I am very pleased. I believe you will be happier in the long run with the 175. Get the most HP you can afford also. You won't regret having it when you really need it. Good luck!
  4. I use a good quality water shoe. I have had a pair of World Wide Sportsman shoes for about 5 years now and they have held up really well. Just bought a new pair this year. Got them at BP for under $60.
  5. Hey LuckyGia I'm headed up a week from Monday. Make sure all that crappy weather is gone wil ya? Gary
  6. Never cared much for school till I got "older". Started working after the USMC as a car mechanic because I loved working and toying with cars. 10 years later after moving to Fla. the opportunity presented itself to attend fire school. Fell in love with it. At 31 got hired and then continued my education getting my degree in Fire Science Emergency Meducal Technician and advanced courses at the Nationl Fire Academy in Maryland. 25 years later after a rewarding career I retired as the Fire Chief. I would have never thought my life would have taken such as course. Now reaping the rewards of all that hard work!
  7. Go easy on the lifting. It takes its tole later in life. I'm speaking from experience, Lots of joint pain now a days.
  8. First get a blow up pic of the carb. Next have a place that you can lay everything out and make sure you use lint free cloths to clean the parts. One piece of lint stuck in a jet will screw things up. I know from experience. Use a good carb cleaner and try to blow out all the passages. I use a welding tip cleaner to get into some of the small passages. Make sure you change out the fuel filter too. Take your time and enjoy doing it. When your finished you will have a sense of satisfaction knowing you saved some hard earned $$.
  9. I remember when cable first came out. The big sell was no comercials. Where did that go? Thank goodness for DVR.
  10. I would give a good look at the trailer also. As far as the price, I would look up the NADA pricing on it and go from there. A lot also depends on where you are located. I sold a 2001 185 PT Tracker with a 50 Merc. on it a little over a year ago for just shy of $4K. It was in really good shape also.
  11. Without a boat I think you are going to be very limited. There are boast rentals at a number of fish camps in the area and that would open up your fishing posibilities to the St. Johns River where you have plenty of spots to fish. From DeLand you can also access Lake Bearsford. Live shiners for the big ones. Good luck!
  12. It use to be Jack Daniels. Now it is 650 MG Tylenol.
  13. Use PB Blaster. That stuff will break anything loose.
  14. Shhhh your not suppose to tell people. Everyone will be there. LOL!

  16. I have both. I like the Ducket a bit better overall.
  17. Welcome to the neighborhood.
  18. Worst movie I have seen in a long time. Very confusing at times!
  19. Welcome to the forum. Fishing in upstate is great. I spend spring thru fall up there just east of Syracuse. You will learn a lot on this forum.
  20. Got to stick with my Bronx Bombers. Yankees all the way to the World Series.
  21. Maybe it would be a good idea to go and talk with someone that could help put whatever your situation is in prospective. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
  22. Welcome to the forum. I spend the summers in upstate not to far from Syracuse. Great fishing in NY.
  23. Just the other day I started to evaluate my current insurance with Progressive and the amount of equipment I have added to my boat. In doing so I was able to contact the fellow listed below who comes highly recommended. He is a fellow fisherman and I was very impressed with his knowledge. The quote he gave me wasn't much more than I am currently paying with Progressive and it covers way more stuff. Bob Luellen Worldwide Marine Underwriters 100 W. Saginaw Hwy.
